Graphics were cool, CGI, storyline, sexy ass Megan Good, dope cars... I liked it a lot.

Some of you idiots have NO fucking taste in movies. Batman? Ok. I'll let Batman pass. Spiderman? Ok, Raimi is a fag but he at least got the first two half way right. Transformers? Michael Bay can only do explosions and car chases so I wasn't as pissed as I should have been with the final product even though Bay is a little bitch.

But GI Joe? Are you idiots kidding me? Have you even seen the fucking trailer? Exosuits? WTF? This isn't GI Joe! WTF? And the scene where they shoot the missles at the two and they jump over them...seriously? Are you people blind? This looks appealing to you?

Well...I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. This is the same crowd that probably went to watch My Bloody Valentine.

I'm seeing GI Joe because I watched the show & had hella the toys. I'm gonna see it regardless.

Street Fighter the movie WAS awesome....just in its own way.... haha. It's one of those movies that is so bad its good.

I kind of look at the GIJOE animated movie from the 80's as the end of the glory days, as that is the last project the original creators worked on. It was actually a good animated flick that went straight to video; it was to be released in the theaters, but the 80's transformer movie had unintended consequences from the kids not too happy with the transformers killing off all their beloved characters, so Joe did not get a theatrical release because of that, or at least so goes the story.

If they had got the writers of the original comic book on the new movie, I have no doubt it would have been excellent.

I could not agree more. More so the comic than animated cartoon, but the main reason they built such loyalty is the continuity established during the original run. I would be psyched to see it if it had the same vehicles (land, air and sea) and bases; the technology envisioned back then still has not been attained in current times so it would not be outdated.
