I didn't say the NW had it's own sound. I don't believe it does as a region although a couple artists are the exception. I said the NW already has an identity. It's what everyone else thinks of when you say 'Seattle' or 'Portland'. Every region is stereotyped and as much as some people don't like to admit it, stereotypes are based on truth.
