I use to write alot of raps and use to rap etc... I'm good, I have some shit that could bring us back because its poetic like Pac's shit and deep from reality.

Now that I'm in my 30's with a white collar job with kids a nice house and all that shit I can afford to rap now but would it be fake if I rapped about my past even though I'm far away from living that now?

^I know all that but I'm just starting out now. I had a shit load of songs and tapes that I made back in the 90's but now I have the money to actually put something out and make a real record.

Yep I feel you, I wouldn't post it on here looking for love that would be a scrub move. I'd just make it, put it out as best I could and let it succeed or fail on its quality. Also, you would never know it was me anyway because I'm not looking for fame, I wouldnt put my face out their it would be a mistery because I have a job to think about.

if you are good at rap then it should not matter how old you start. there is a good chance you will not become mainstream, but that doesnt mean you wont have some sort of fan base. Cuzzin Ice Lecta, who is one of my favorite rappers, didnt start young. i'm pretty sure he was older than 31 when he released his first album.

the bad thing about young rappers in my opinion is many of them have yet to experience much of their life. not all of them though.

even if you rap about something that happend 20 years ago, it will still be worth it if its interesting and you actually lived it.

Curious what you have to say about Jingletown and 150th. Both areas seem pretty tame these days.

I actually believe u get better when ur older.. gives u time to refine and fine tune ur shit

being 20-something and rapping is when u learn shit.. when u hit 30 is when u put those lessons into practice..

Much kudos and props to the youngsters who do it and already have their shit on point tho!

too old to rap if your wack

by 30 if you cant tell whats dope and whats not you need to GTFO of rap period

30 isnt an age for "dreams" you should either know youre dope lyrically by now or not or leave it alone

if your younger you can 'play around' but 30, theres pro's that age

you basically just better be on your A game or your wasting time

nothing worse than a old rapper rappin bout old shit no one GAF abt rappin like he just got out of jail

Just do it as a hobby, getting into a career where millions fall short means you have to completely dedicate your life to the art form which is something that seems impossible to do from what you just told us.

Nothing wrong with having a good time from the experience imo.
