i must admit i supported it at first but i am man enough to admit it is a massive disaster, failure, lemon whatever you want to call it. even though some of our own americans helped turn it into a disaster it is what it is. the war supporters should have seen it coming. mad at both sides blehhh......it just bothers me that a lot of people were more against bush than the war actually and i believe that fueled the insurgency and what not but like i said our "president" and his goons should have known that would happen. blehhhh

Just wanted to have a little fun with you and remind you of the things you said.

But, I do appreciate the fact that you can admit that you were wrong.

oh i aint trippin sixx, i meant it. thanks for pointing it out. i have no problem saying i was wrong ever. id rather admit i was wrong than try to backpedal and make sorry excuses trying to defend what i said. that was my honest opinion at the time and it has changed. really what the fuck can be done over there. CATCH 22 IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. RUN OR STAY?????? if we leave were doing a great disservice to the people. the civil war wasnt actually a civil war til we got there. it was more like hatfield and mccoy shit. but if we stay we lose american lives for nothing. i still believe saddam was a threat to the u.s. but now i dont think it was worth it to take him out like that. we have leaders in iran and korea who actually HAVE OR ARE ADMITTING TO MAKING NUCLEAR DEVICES. and all we do is give them sanctions??? come on now thats boo boo. lets be consistent here bush.

not as far as him actually bombing us or something but his hatred and support of our enemy. you think he wouldnt jump at the chance to finance a major attack on us? thats what i was speaking of not actual military threat LIKE KOREA AND IRAN. but no he was never really an actual threat to "hit the button" so to speak.

Curious on why you feel Iran is a military threat to us.
i dont feel they are really a threat as much as they actually admit to having or wanting capabilities. not only that they support other countries with anti american sentiment. saddam always denied wmd's whereas these guys admit to wanting/building the shit yet they get sanctions and no military action.

they admit to developing nuclear energy. the US said they were lying and developing weapons, a report which was proven false after the UN watchdog comfirmed that there is no uranium inrichment occuring on a large enough scale to be considered anywhere near the developing of weapons.
not only that they support other countries with anti american sentiment.
source please? what countries are you referring to? what anti-american sentiment? if anything, there is an anti-bush sentiment. there's also an anti-bush sentiment in the US...
saddam always denied wmd's whereas these guys admit to wanting/building the shit yet they get sanctions and no military action.
again, when did "these guys" ever admit to wanting or building any weapon of mass destruction. they have only publicly announced plans of exploring the possibility of nucleur energy.

if Iran in any way takes action against the United States, it will only be as a response to the US being a military threat to them, not vise versa.

So you seriously think that Iran with nuclear technology would not be a threat to the United States and Israel, because a threat to Israel is a threat to the United States, whether you support the jews or not.
i dont think you read my response carefully enough.

i was responding to the comment made about Iran "admitting" to wanting nucleur weapons. this is completely false. so no, them achieving the (non-weapon-related) nucleur (energy) technology (which is all they have been proven to be developing), then no it is not a threat to anyone.

i never stated wether or not i believe it is for energy or if they are covering up for a weapon. but the UN did investigate and proved there is nothing in the country that resembles any weapons-grade nucleur development.

if in fact they are making a nuke, i still dont think its a threat. the mulahs who run iran may talk a lot of shit, but the purpose of posessing a nucleur weapon by any country, including iran, is for one sole reason, respect. nukes are not for using, they are for intimidation and for gaining a position as a world super-power.

u could offer the argument that iran's leaders are crazy, scary, threat-making terrorists, and are less trustable than the rest of the countries with nukes, but no country should be less trusted because of a crazy, scary, threat-making terrorist leader than the one we live in.
