yeah and we took over iraqs government in a matter of hours. iran on the other hand hand has strategic trade partnerships that iraq lacked. its also the most powerful (only?) shia nation. we will have support from other arab countries who fear iran, but i think we want a green light from other nations before we drop a bomb. we have a hundred palnes and several cruisers in the gulf as we speak.

ok let me let you in on something, seeing as im in the US Navy
we ALWAYS have aircraft carrier strike groups and anphibious strike groups in the gulf. so theres nothing new about that
in fact, monday another carrier strike groups leaves for their 6 month deployment and my ship, USS Bonhomme Richard, leaves a week later.
There is always Naval power shown in the gulf for years.

So dont take the fact that we have ships over there as we are going to war, we are there to support Iraq and Afganistan... if Iran is next (god damn i hope not) then so be in

Mottaki: We have always been a powerful country. We can look back on a long and great history, and we have enormous capacities and possibilities. The Americans are now paying the price for not wanting to listen to us, and others. We warned the United States against spending billions of dollars to arm Saddam and the Taliban. By bringing down these regimes they simply corrected their old mistakes. We just hope that the US will not make any further mistakes.
that bastard is right
