That video is cool and all, but doesn't tell both sides of the story. I always go to celebrate st patty's with my irish homies and NOTHING ever pops off. We celebrate Oktoberfest together and all kinds of shit. Always peaceful and tons of fun. Then you go to celebrate cinco de mayo and these dumb ass surenos and nortenos start shooting each other. Drunk ass wannabe tough guys walking everywhere trying to act hard and start shit. Completely the total opposite between events like St. Patrick's and Cinco De Mayo.

im saying if your from redwood city you should play your role and not act ghetto. Faking the funk aint cool.
im not faking any funk..telling someone ull crack their head doesnt mean you're ghetto..it means youre gonna crack their head if they come see u on something

Yep, I did miss the humor boat in having my people classed as unmoral dogs. Both festivals also have completely different meanings. Once is for a bunch of young fucking retards to disgrace there race, and the other is a celebration. So comparing the two to me seems like just a way to slyly spout racism.
like i said, im not trying to invoke racism or make people look down on mexicans..some of my closest friends and homeboys are mexican, and i got nothing but love for em..i posted the article to spark some conversation on the issue..u cant argue the fact that the cinco de mayo celebration is a nightmare for city officials, while the obon festival, well, isnt..asians are more respectful by nature..but like i said, there was no negative intention on my part..

yeah, my posts is what got him banned originally.
can we get an encore??

I read the post and thought to myself: this is like he's asking a question; What's the difference between the Obon Festival and Cinco De Mayo?

Then I realized the answer to this question is a question itself.....

WHAT THE FUCK IS AN OBON AND WHY DOES IT GOT A FESTIVAL?

You all know people that type this shit up on craigslist are post-20s single unemployed white males mad at the world just trying to stir shit up right? I mean the one before was probably about gay marriage and the one after was probably about women.

Mayn this thread is ridiculous. I've never been to Obon in america, but the main question I'd want answered is how many people attended and how old were they?

How many people attent Cinco De Mayo festivities and how old are they?

I'm not saying that the Obon festival had more old people and less people than the Cinco De Mayo, but if it did that would help to explain a lot of things.

When there's functions that a lot of Asian youth attend with alcohol there's usually a lot of bullshit, it comes with the size of the crowd/alcohol/young dumbfucks etc etc.

And homie that said he hates Asians, damn you just hurt my feelings. At least you capitalized it tho.
