I feel you...I actually had alot homeboys move out to the IE because of prices out here getting out of hand. Even in some of the older/run down neighborhoods housing/apartment costs are skyrocketing. I'm actually looking to move into the southeast LA County area (Pico Rivera/Whittier/etc) because I can't really afford it here and so I can be closer to my work's main shop in Commerce. The cost of living is getting ridiculous out here and throughout much of SoCal.
yeh OC gettin expensive...IE is cheap compared to alotta other areas around here...for what u pay in LA city or by the beach etc u culd get somethin alot better out here...lol i think the cheapest spot in the entire LA metro area is fuckin WS san bernardino...that fuckin warzone has some cheap ass housing..course ur rite in the middle of one of the worst places to live in the country but its fuckin cheap lol
I actually noticed that shit, I was trying to get transferred so I could work in the IE so I can save a little more money by paying cheaper rent prices but my company wouldn't go for it. It looks like I'll be working in LA for now so I've been looking for some cheaper areas in LA county and the majority of the areas that are reasonably priced aren't the best of areas and I don't think my lady would go for it...Same thing with West SB, she'd probably leave me before moving out that way... lol
For the most part those were the only areas I was really looking into (SGV/SE) just to be closer to work, but I also seen some reasonable prices in the SFV around Van Nuys/Reseda and also up in Pacoima/San Fernando. There was a few spots in Glendale/Atwater Village over by Toonerville that had some decent prices too but I was focusing on looking in the Commerce/Montebello/Pico Rivera area.
haha..I'm not too keen on moving from here to Pacoima/San Fernando not only because of the bad area but the traffic from the valley into downtown and vice versa is a fucking headache daily and it's hot as shit out there.
The Artesia/Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs area ain't too bad either but I'm trying to be somewhere in between Commerce and Glendora (but closer to Commerce)just for convenience for work. Driving LA traffic daily seems to add to fucked up blood pressure so I'm just trying to make shit easier on myself.

pacas is pretty active...at one time it was the most hi crime area in the city of LA...
theres like 20 pacas varrios and a piru hood...and they beef it with san fer....i aint a expert on the SFV but this is what i know...
