Infamous isn't out yet, coming out on the 26th. Only people that have the game are sony employees, my sony rep got had his copy for a couple weeks now. I got the demo and it's pretty fucking sick, very detailed. Prototype looks like a badass game, if it controls nice that shit will be beast.

"People who play this sort of game are assholes of the highest order.

This is from OXM issue #96, also it says its for fans of Rampant destruction; fast, gory action; conspiracies.

-There are no collectible energy orbs to power your awesomeness. Thanks to genetics, you are always awesome. Just keep yourself alive.

-You'll get nearly double the health for consuming an enemy instead of killing them, which means you'll just have to kill more people.

-Once youve finished the main storyline, you can go back and uncover more Web of Intrigue plot points and play Events.

-Prototype's super-attacks are called Devastators. This one shoots out tendrils and obliterates everything it touches.

-You can hijack helicopters... or you can just kick them to death.

-Steal a tank, and you'll not only get massive firepower, but your health will recharge while you're inside it, too.

-Alex can leap over cars automatically. Who wants to worry about timing a jump when there's a rocket launcher on your ass?

-Expect between 15 and 20 hours of gameplay from Prototype - more if you savor the minigames and Web of Intrigue bits.

I'll probally get Infamous first and depending on reviews I'll give prototype a try. They both look sick.

I think the lighting abilities in infamous is weak. Only so many things you can do with only one power. Game still looks dope though but i have always been much more hyped over prototype.

I played the demo for infamous and it's pretty fucking dope. It got game of the month in game informer with a 9.5 or 9.25 I think. It will probably be the better game story and game play but Prototype will be good and probably sell more for being on 2 systems. Im getting a free copy of Infamous i'll let ya'll know how it is.

Nah homie, they have quite a bit of different lightning powers.

inFamous is fun as hell. Thunder Drops are fucking awesome. I love the big ass explosions from 'em.


Anyone else cop this yet?

^^ This is how i feel exactly about both Prototype and Infamous..

Anyways im goin to reserve prototype today..

If anyone can find some earlie reveiws that are in that'd be coo.. Cuz i have a feelin this game is either gonna be really really dope, or really really bad.

I saw some more gameplay today and it looks BAD ASS.. Dude slices thru a helicopter and smashes a tank all in the same motion then starts shootin spikes out the ground and out of no where a heat seekin missle smashes into 'em.

Shit looks raw.. I've got mine payed in full already.

im very interested in how this "web of intrigues" is gonna work out.. hopefully the story wont be all about runnin to point a and then point b and jus suckin up peoples memories lol.. i hope they place the people who's memories you gotta take in some interestin places or include some plot with why ur goin after 'em.
