i was talkin to a few people bout it,they attitudes be all fucked up,they too god or suffa to come out, some poeple be hella arrogant or have to much pride for things like this, and they wonder why our music dont get push like it should be,alot of people quick to complain that its cuz its a lack of major labels out here but however i find that hard to accept that as an excuse cuz there is countless amounts of highly successful musicians/producers/engineers/assistants etc. etc who are from the bay and who currently reside here and the connections are mos def there. we have the problem of keepin sumthin good to ourselfs and sharing it with everybody...if we came together and put everything under 1 umbrella like a conglomerate / coporation and learned to put away our differences and learn to work together then we could have a hard hitting team

i feel that our most recent sucess could have been pushed alot harder, more artist should have been put more on.iono whats going on

very very true, the fact that more people don't come out and support something like this is sad. everybody wants to complain about the lack of support for the Bay, but when something like this comes about, people don't wanna support it? go figure.

one of the realest statements made on the panel last week, was that when most of the panelists were getting into the industry, things like this WERE NOT available to them to help them learn about the music business. But now this is open to everybody EVERY week, why the fuck aint more people coming out and networking? the Bay has a lot of internal issues to work out.

and the people who do come out, although we greatly appreciate it, we need them to become more active, ask questions, pay attention to the panels, stand where the panelists can see you. people act like they're too fuckin cool for something like this, they wanna sit off to the side, sit at the bar, sit on the couches in the back, and not pay attention, and don't wanna ask questions when they know damn well they don't know EVERYTHING there is to know about the industry. I know this is FACT because not even the people on the panel know EVERYTHING about the industry, this is something you NEVER stop learning in, people ALWAYS have questions, everyday, why not ask when u have the opportunity to have them answered by seasoned professionals. Throw all that pride, I'm hard, I'm already a star in my hood bullshit out the window, we gotta come together and make this shit happen!
