"In God we trust" wouldn't be takin off because its "offensive", its because its "Un Constitutional" just as "one nation under god" is. Read the constitution to find your answers....

i dont find it offensive

to me its just like having
"in (insert any meaningless name here) we trust"

it does not bother me one bit, i could care less.
but it is unconstitutional

ALL i'm saying is that the united states of america was founded on this, my heritage was founded on this (god, not the saying on the doller bill) i'm saying this in reflect of the pledge of alligance. i know not everybody is on the same level that i'm on with this issue, but for me its more that just a sentance to me it reps our nations freedom.

The fact of the matter this whole debate comes down to "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". however, for some reason people always use the term 'Seperation of church and state" which is probably why people are so ignorant about the issue but anyway...It was clear in the day what this meant..it meant exactly what it said "congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion" i.e. as the Angelican church was to England--Meaning an established religion which in effect was the powers that be for the nation. Very foolish does one sound saying that the words "One nation under God" is effectively an "establishment of religion".

its another step towards the New World Order. The illuminatti are satanic, and by removing "In God We Trust" they are gradually moving us towards a godless, satanic existence.

it shouldn't be there in the first place just like dosia said.
its not one step torwards "satanic existance".
there're a lot of religoins out there, if ppl speak of religion then they will contue to argue for a long time.
keep them apart, church and state, for the good of everyone.

keep religion in the closet, just like malcolm x siad.

"A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."
