Ok, seriously, you're the 3rd or 4th person that's said this to me.

I am not minimizing who the man was. Quite the contrary. I personally think he was one of the greatest figures of civic engagement the world has ever seen. What I am minimizing is what we've done to his vision. It's a damn shame when people want to praise him and just as easily forget his message. The proof is in this post: Please Mexcom, take your BS out of this thread. Please Mexcom, do not argue with us. Please Mexcom, we know only what was thought to us in elementary about Dr. King. Please Mexcom, let us have this day off.

MLKs dream =/= accomplished.
Man you only been spittin the truth in this thread...you know the average mufucka only wants to hear and delude himself with fake fantasy shit...like a dream (pun intended). Look at his words and teachings but go further thn that. And The I have a Dream speech aint his only speech, I'd say the work he was doing and the speeches he was giving (concerning de facto segregation in the northen ghettos, vietnam, the ills of capitalism, etc. - all in the last months of his life), are more pertinent to now, and mufuckas need to stop being lazy and spoon fed his easy shit and move on to the harsh reality he ws kickin.
