Come on now Fatal, the Niners aren't that much better. They play harder and probably are better coached and more discipline, I'll give them that but your team has only one more win than ours so far.

I think this is a good point

when it comes to overall talent I feel like the teams are pretty even up and down... you could compare each team position by position, and even if one team looks better than another on paper... it won't be by much

now the main difference is the Niners are better coached, more disciplined, and more motivated than the Raiders

plus they're better at QB, which is arguably the most important position on the field

it seems like the niners go out and play hard week in and week out... I don't see this with the Raiders

so are the Niners better than the Raiders? yes... are they A LOT better? I guess that depends how you define "a lot"

thats why if the Raiders match the Niners in wins and losses at any point this season you throw out all stats especially how some of yall were so happy to show Alex Smith's and Crabtrees stats compared to Russell and DHB.

obviously you didn't read my whole post

I said based on talent position by position... we're fairly equal... I gave the Niners props and said they're a better team

I'm sure you could argue the niners have more talent... and I probably wouldn't disagree... but not that much more

neither team is GREAT when it comes to talent

the Raiders lack good coaching, discipline, and motivation... we have a shitty locker room... all these things that the Raiders lack the Niners have to make up for it... which is why the Niners are better... the Niners have a winning mentality... the Raiders don't

the Raiders have a lot of raw young talent... but without the right coaching and a winning mentality the players cannot excel...

if Singletary coached the Raiders and if Al Davis let him run the team his way we'd be a MUCH better team

Nnamdi, Richard Seymour, Greg Ellis, Michael Huff (since this season), Kirk Mossion, Thomas Howard, Michael Bush, Justin Fargas, Zach Miller, Darren McFadden (if he stayed healthy and we use him the right way... screens, and running outside instead of up the middle) Chaz Schilens, Louis Murphy... all solid players... or at least have the talent and potential to be solid

and really you guys have 1 more win than us

but gtfo acting like I'm just hating on the Niners, or acting like a delusional fan... I keep it real... I gave the Niners props... admitted they were better and stated why the Raiders aren't as good

you on the other hand NEVER provide any evidence for your opinions... I know I've said it before, but you seem to seriously lack knowledge of the game... you just respond with lame ass comebacks like

"FUCK THE RAIDTURDS SON!!! BWAHAHA!"

you sound like a little 13 year old kid trying to argue... so stay out of the debates when the real football fans are talking

and btw did I ever actually say the Niners are NOT a lot better?? I said:

IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU DEFINE "ALOT"

again... read my fucking post before you respond... I dare you to come back with a credible response that's more intelligent than something a fuckin kid in elementary school could come up with... but I doubt it will happen

You raider fans sure are content with that "one more win" argument, aren't you? You conveniently forget to state the fact you also have TWO MORE LOSSES. We're 3-4, you're 2-6. Our winning percentage is .429, yours is .250 so while we're ONE GAME away from a .500 record, you guys are FOUR GAMES AWAY.

It's not as simple as "you guys only have one more win." There is a 3-game difference after only 8 weeks. It's more than "one more win." Nice try, though.

PS: I understand we haven't had our bye-week yet. That doesn't change the fact that you guys LOST the extra game you had.

(This post wasn't directed at anyone in particular, it's just a response to that "only one more win" argument I've been seeing all week)

QB, RB, LB and TE - the Niners are better. The raiders have the better secondary. Our O-Lines are both whack in pass-protection, but the raiders are better at run blocking so they get the nod. The biggest and most important position on the team is the Head Coach, and while I don't like Singletary's offensive "vision," he is still a much better coach than Tom Cable. I'm considering everything else a push, even though I think the combination of Josh Morgan and Michael Crabtree will eventually give us the better receiving core in the future.

I think the raiders have more players with "potential" than the Niners do, but we all know players don't always realize that potential and none of the raiders' youngster have done so.

If you replace the word "Raidturds" with "Whiners" and add a "Got Em!!!!!!!!" at the end, you just described Czar.

why even comment on the raiders there terrible they probably have the highest payroll in the league and still have a bad team

I agree we have a lot of players with "potential"... like I said... a lot of players with raw talent that need to be molded into good NFL players... unfortunately because of our shitty coaching staff... and horrible schemes basically being called by Al Davis it's gonna be difficult for a lot of these guys to full fill their potential
