Well I went to Lincoln from 7th thru 12th grade and I loved it. I graduated in 2000. It's about 60% black and 40% everything else, a pretty good mix, and a good environment, not too nerdy but not scary like Central was when I went there in 6th grade. Just thought I'd share my experiences. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask me.
Hold up hold up....Ya'll niggas on here lying Imma tell you the truth about paseo home girl...First of all it is a performing arts school....it is 1 out of 2 Kansas City School District schools that is still acredited.......first there are no men walking around in lipstick and Heals....(except for a play....they might have on STAGE makeup....) YES there are SOME gay people there.....but its not all open like everybody gay and they trying to make you gay......and all the school in the KC district got Fags trust me I know.....(who you think the paseo fags date?)
There are no uniforms in Paseo.....it is open everybody has there own personality...its not like Central or westport were everybody wear the same thing, walk the same way talk the same way and everybody clicks up in gangs wear what you like.....It is the cleanest out of all the schools....except for central.....westport and northeast look like a jail...with trashy ass halls and shit....We are the Best looking females......(although there are some hoes).......in the district.
Please dont let these people on here put down paseo.....they are probably made cause they didnt have the talent it takes to get in....and if you are trying to go to school for art or have art as a part of your career its the best school to go to....I know art majors that left paseo and was ahead of MOSTcollege student in art.... Paseo is very diverse....there are mostly black students now but when I went it was about 50/50...now its about 85% black....If you want to go to a dirty....GHETTO...TRASHY....school where you gone fight for your life everyday...go to WESTPORT....NORTHEAST.......SOUTHEAST........Lincoln is cool....its not touching PASEO on the Arts though (NOT EVEN CLOSE)....
But for real what are you into...what do you do? what are you looking for in a school?cause paseo might not be for you.....the females there are classified as FINE but STUCK UP....I just think we are classy..(well most of them).....if you looking for sports...paseo is not the school for you...I enjoyed it cause I was a Cheerleader and we smashed all the other ghetto ass cheerleaders....anyway pick your school by what you into....most of the city schools are now charter schools and you have to were uniforms...I.E. Bishop hogan, westport.....Paseo and Lincoln are still district schools cause there the only ones with that have acredidation.......pick your school wisely!

Acredidation dont mean shit anywhere unless you are going to Harvard over Stanford or something... HA HA....FUNNY! lets be for real here......now seriously there is not one single fact in anything that you just said about Paseo.......only thing I can agree with you with is sports.....and I said it myself.....we are not a school for sports...If you look at all the performing arts schools across the US you will see that only 10% of them have atheletic programs.....You are absolutly right.....we didnt have a football team....we did send students to Metro and Westport to play Football but it was not because we were broke....it was simply because Performing arts schools do not have football programs...
Half of these schools are mad because paseo had more money than them...if we were so broke...we wouldnt have gotten new upgraded equipment every year.....and the wall joke....yeah right....you just mad because the only art the thugs at your school was capable of was Grafitti. The walls are not filled with the shit you just described...there are only famous quotes near the cellings........and only dumbasses that dont plan on getting into Top schoools like NYU, UCLA, Harvard,Burkley,Stanford,Julia Art just to name a few would not care about acredidation.....if it wasnt important the KC school district would still have all of its unacredited magnet schools....but it is so in order to save the inner city students that had no choice but to go to these schools because they were either not talented enough for paseo or not smart enough for lincoln....they had to change unacredited schools like westport into Charter schools which are ran like Public Housing by the state.....come on now....lets stick to the facts.....like I said it depends on the type of person you are....if you a thug go to westport, southeast, northeas.......if you are talented and want to enhance your talent so that you may persue a career in it go to paseo....if you smart and talented go to paseo or lincoln....the rest of the schools were uniforms and are neutral.......

Basically, Paseo is like "Be comfotable with who you are" type of school.. Of course they have a theme, but I guarantee you that I can draw better than half of them people there (which I have seen and is proven) but I chose to go to Westport because I am a man, not a "crossdressing willing to act as a woman knowing I'm really gay so it will feel good to be a woman for a day ass faggot". My Grandmother wanted me to go there and they were like you'll have to audition to get in... FUCK THAT.! After I saw hella faggots there looking all at me, and shit.. Nope... Can't do it...
OH RIGHT..... They will have a basketball team, but not a football team because they are a performing arts school.... Riiiggghhhhttt! That is so lame..
