Okay, he doesn't "suck". He just had the UFC Heavyweight title handed to him. Is that better? My point all along was most guys have to work their way up to even get to a title fight.
The fact that he was given a shot at the title so early in his career could be looked at in two ways.
Sure, you could say that someone 'handed' him the title.
But then again, who fights people like Frank Mir and Randy Couture in their first couple fights?!
You could also look at it as being set up for failure. In his first fight with the UFC, he was scheduled to fight a guy with more submission wins in the organization that anyone in history.
The fact that with the exception of the first Mir fight, he's dominated everyone put in front of him so far, should tell you that he's definitely better than some of you are giving him credit for.
Tell me a fighter who's had a higher level of opposition through their first 5 fights in the sport. I can't think of anyone.
