I would look at a G35 Coupe or Sedan it is like the Maxima but RWD and more of a luxury car. What kind of 3 series were you looking at? The 3 series will be the sportiest car you mentioned a little on the small side but they handle so fucking nice, I have an older 3 series and love it. If you want some muscle a V8 Charger or 300 depending on which you like more (I really like the 300's) would be good and they are a lot bigger but you do see them everywhere. With a 300 or Charger don't get the V6 the 2.7 was unreliable and underpowered in the previous generation of Chrysler cars and the 3.5 just wouldn't have enough power in such a heavy car.
