all i was saying is that Oliver North is one of the most decorated war heroes in american history just like McCain for his tours in Vietnam.

and i actually do think that he got a bum deal when all he was doing was taking orders and trying to get back hostages from Iran and at the same time helping the Contra "freedom fighters" against the Sandanista "Communists".

i dont care if it was illegal if some1 can work a deal to get back the hostages and help freedom fighters at the same time. to me that is a true american patriot.
