Ice Cube Addresses Local L.A. Rappers, Says It's Not His Job To Help Them

I think this has been a long time coming, its just not these newer rappers this has been going on for a good while. I mean Yukmouth, and lord knows how many other rappers have been dissing the vets for not working with them but at the same time why would the vets want to work with somebody thats steady talking shit and complaining about them. Cube is being cool though and not saying any names but alot of people are getting over emotional about it. I mean shit do you and in due time you will get noticed by the work you put in, and another thing is how in the fuck are these new rappers spose to be saving the west when they cant even put out a fucking record in the stores.
I always look at it like, if you want respect, not just on the streets (Gangsta rap) but also amongst your peers.. you gotta fuck with them.. that's not sayin people have too.. I just figure its a good look.. especially if the new gen is dope.
I cant say much for G Malone.. dont know too much but just what I've heard from people. But if the disses are there.. then anyone that is aimed at should fuck with him.. But that dont mean throw any new west rapper under the bus as they were part of G Malone. I also think the new Gen is trying to "bring back" the west to what it used to be. All respects to Cube and any pioneer that put it down... but you've done you part to build the coast.. let others do their part and if you still wanna be part.. help rebuild it with them (or certain artists you like). But this holding down others or as it was put "crabs in a barrel" type mentality is hurting our music industry... IMO.
