Then we must be talking about two different people, becuase the Skip Bayless I have watched is a complete moron and knows nothing about sports, football in particular...but he is pretty shitty at assessing b-ball as well. I have seen Steven A Smith put him in his place several times over the years.

that's why I think he's a troll. Even very casual fans of sports are more on point than bayless is and he works for ESPN. It seems he just says shit to get people all riled up and to get into arguments. The more outrageous the better. Classic troll behavior.

Skip doesn't know shit about boxing/MMA he just speaks on them because he has too. Skip strengths are the NFL and ncaafb, sometimes b ball. Also he is a huge homer so if you dislike the squads he's bias towards you will probably not enjoy his opinion. Hes a cowboy, sooner, Tebow, and Michael Jordan groupie. I think first take is the best show on ESPN. Also Stephen a Smith shouldnt have a opinion on anything other than b ball. It's sad what the lockout has done to him, he's been getting tore up on football debates.

No one is "hating" anything....we just think he is a dipshit. Whether or not he is seriously trolling is up for debate. Even then, being a "full time" troll is pretty pathetic in its own right.

I do my best to avoid him, so i could really give a flying fuck regardless. But that doesn't make my opinion any less valid: the guy is a dolt.

Also skip bayless worked at the San Jose mercury so its dope to have someone on ESPN who has actually lived or spent time in the bay. Tired of all the upstate New York, Michigan, Cleveland, Boston faggot writers they got on there that show no respect to any squad west of the mississippi.
