Rap has got to be the most unique musical genre ever. It's the only one I can think of where fans expect the artist to be who they portray and do what they say they do on a track. I don't know if that's fair or unfair, but I think it's pretty stupid. Speaking on some street shit, the rappers who live like they rap don't last very long. That don't mean you gotta perpetrate on wax, but if you serious about making money and music you can't live how you rap.
