I don't know how all of us see techs skill and so many others just don't.

It just doesn't make sense how so many people can be so damn ignorant.

I don't care if someone is like "Ya, ive heard some songs, its not my style" but the motherfuckers who are like "tech nine sucks"

I think sometimes it goes like this

Their choice of music gets dissed
a new artist is recommended instead by the "hater"
and like..without even knowing they're doing it, they just reject the recommendation regardless of what they hear so the hater is "wrong"

people are not to bright. When the juvenile song "HA" came out I thought it was the stupidiest s#%@ ever. People kept calling him the best MC alive. That really made no sense.

Yea, I'v had that convo wit cousins & all I had to do was put on brand new classics like why you aint call me & One Good Time or Message to the black man & Ridin Paseo..the convo and opinion quickly changes to: well he dont get no airplay on the radio so most people just dont know, its funny that way.
It went from He's not that tight to he's just not exposed enough. All it took was the play the music.

the thing is most rap fans these days arent the diehard rap fans, they just enjoy the current rap image/scene/sound. They seem to enjoy catchy and simple rhymes/song that they can easily memorize or sing along to. Tech goes above and beyond the simplicity, both with his rhymes and the way he flows to ensure his music is unique and well to say the least...eliete.

But kids arent into the elite shit, they just wanna two step while they superman that hoe...whipe it out then walk it out and so then they are able to skip to their fuckin' lou

Yeah it pisses me off, most people have already covered it. Its either the lyrics are too complicated to comprehend, or the people are too into the current rap they see on TV. For example, most casual rap fans just want to hear about poppin' bottles and shit. They don't care about the rhymes, its more or less what the song is about.

If people don't like Tech, I will respect their opinion, but it does piss me off when people try to say he isn't sick lyrically. If they aren't even a little impressed when they hear a Tech multie, they are a joke.

Dude don't worry bout it this happens every time I recommend Tech to someone. Some tech fans do get waaay to overprotective and that will make ppl not even wanna give him a try, just dont argue and if they dont like it fuck it.

To the dude askin why I was at a 'soulja boy forum' ... its not man, haha. its all around hip-hop/general discussion, i've been there for years. I just saw that shit and I had to see if these kids were serious about being excited for a new album from him. shits crazy.

but anyways, I agree with what you guys said, but it still just doesn't make sense.

Because even some people who I generally think have decent taste in music STILL don't like tech. People who understand multis and rhyme structure somehow just skim over his shit. His vocabulary, his heart, his energy is just too much for some I guess...

I used to argue with people over this shit back in the day, but as i've grown up I tend to just laugh at peoples pure stupidity. It just boggles me mayneeee
