There is a possibility that Skunt and myself will be getting our own radio show.....and I'm talkin' about REAL radio.....not no internet shit. We need to come up with the format and the name of the show. Of course we want to do somethin' to help the NW music scene and help other artists.......but what else should we do?

Help us out and make some suggestions.............

Great idea there, that sounds really interesting....

Hmm, Im sure this is going to be strictly NW underground right? Besides supporting the NW Music, you could do Freestyle fridays, where people call up and battle eachother, the winner could get a battle against Skunt or a request for a song or something and the respect.. etc :) You could have NW Trivia, questions based on the roots and ish like that on NW Hiphop, cause its call about connecting with the people on the other side on the radio uno .. You could have lots of NW Artists and Dj's featured on your show to spin or represent etc (like thats a fresh idea lol.. but its still good) Lots of stuff, when I think of more I'll post em up

The radio show should mos def have freestyle battles, live in person, as well as over the phone. We need a show that takes it back to hip hop and plays underground music as well as commerical. The problem with that is, if it's a REAL radio show, you have to generate income from thin air (advertising) by having a huge listening base. People want to listen to radio friendly songs and if you play too much garbage underground music (people who suck, not saying underground is garbage, obviously) they won't listen. So you have to introduce the hip hop element over time as you build a fan base. I'd like to see battles by DJ's and Emcees, the playing of hot underground music and the hottest commerical music. I mean hot shit, not just the latest piece of shit single by so and so. There needs to be a news team that reports what's going on in the hip hop world... maybe a rumor mill about commerical rappers, that shit is comedy.

Well obviously the format is going to be NW hip-hop/rap. As far as the name of the show goes, if its going to be northwest music, then 20siccness wouldnt be an appropriate name, so it would have to be a more "NW-oriented" name, i think that the name should/could be oriented towards the rain/a storm/the fact we get no sunlight and live in a depressing darkness over half the year. Also a top 5 requested NW slumps countdown might be tight, so people can voice what they like the most.... and if their is a freestyle battles portion of the show it should def. be over d-sane beats :devious: ... also a "where are they now" portion of the show, checking up on local artists that once were on the rise, but fell off and got sucked back into the streets :eek:

Hell yeah. That's tight D-sane. Glad to hear that the hustle has provided opportunites. Too bad I'll probably never be able to hear the show :( .

Well whatever radio station it is on things will be crackin. This is a big step for the NW gettin two of the best to do a show. I got to agree with Mo too, he came up with some good ideas. Street Level Radio is a good name, represent that shit. Cant wait to hear it.
