Sol... what up homie... how ya been? Hope all is well.
I gotta say I miss talkin with Wood. It was hilarious havin a convo with him when he was off that rum and coke. keeeeeeeeeeith! lol. His artwork for NE1 was the first artwork / layout I ever got paid to do. We became pretty tight after that one and he always insisted on paying me to do the next couple projects. A quick fact: I was doin a compilation back in like 2000... or so and He played Dreamin A Life... I paid him $400 for it.. there wasn't even a hook on it at that point. He gave me the DAT tape with it. Then a few months later he got a hook on it and asked if he could use it for Demonz N My Sleep. I said of course. Then I ran into him at an event and he pulled $400 outta his pocket and said here's the money for the song. There's not many cats out there that would or would've paid someone back for a song they sold and then wanted to use. He was a very fair businessman. I do miss the homie and hope everyone close to him is ok.

THIS STORY YOU JUST POSTED RIGHT HERE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHAT A RIGHTEOUS BUSINESSMAN THE HOMIE WAS. HE PAID ME FOR MY LAST TRACK I DID WITH HIM TOO. WHEN I THANKED HIM FOR IT AND TOLD HIM IT WASN'T NECESSARY, HE JUST SAID HE WAS SORRY BECAUSE HE FELT I DESERVED MORE. WOODIE WAS THE BEST. EVER.
THANKS FOR THE STORY KEITH.
MAN I MISS MY HOMIE WOODIE.
