The last day I spent with my bro, Young Kev, was an ephifany in life for me. It was October 9, 2005. We were at SouthEast FieldHouse, for the "Ball 2 U Fall" basketball event: in the middle of Chiefs football season. (no-good) This new rapper/sanger, calling himself T-Pain, was pissed because it was only about 175 people at venue prepared for 2000. The promoter, bka. Mr. Muhammed, hustled the local radio station for a $30,000 budget, on a $3,ooo product. The headline act, performing their new single for the Hustle & Flow soundtrack. These guys showed up with a van full of Pink Toes, that were damn decent. They wasn't tryn to indulge in the Local Cabbage, but them niggaz was ready to pour sum LIQ. Nothing dark, hlf-gal of Vodka, hlf-gal of Gin. .............Shady ass promoter, a.k.a. Mr Mohammed, didn't even have the ends 2 take care of the Memphis O.G.'s....yadda yadda yadda blah blah blag, ......After the Southern Don's again passed on the local cabbage, DJ Hobo Tone called Young Kev 2 the m.i.c.. The promoter, n.k.a. Mr. Muhommed, didn't have the name or finances, 2 book the most established local acts, Tech-9 or Young Rich. So Young Kev hit the bldg., on the love, because he saw a bigger pixxx. He blessed the fieldhouse with 2 up close and in yo face songs, took some flixxx with all blessings. Exchanged info with the lil black azz carribean nigga reppin that gay-ass T-P person. The Memphis O.G.s thanked bro 4 tha drank, we stopped at "Bob Earl" (don't ask), got back 2 my crib, and this nigga got into a 2serious scrap with baby brothe SHAKA. .................Is this a joke??????????? Oct 10, after whoppin baby bro over socks & draws, Young Kev hits the studio with WesCrook & Bird (Block Life) at Too Sweet Vellie "Piece Up" studio and records his last song.............Is this a joke??????? That's what i said when I was told, Young Kev Is Dead!!!...................Is this a joke????????????
