I havent heard a good Bay Area album in 2007. What would you reccomend?

I am all about local music but I have not heard/seen one album that has even remotely interested me this year.

I want a solo album or group album containing all the rappers from that group on every track (ie a real group). I also want the album to be an official release that the artist approves of and not some half-assed put together unofficial cd. NO mixtapes, NO compilations.

This board has been hella boring lately so entertain me at least by letting me know what CD I should go out and copp...

imo the only bay one i thought was good in 2007 is the Zion I and Grouch album so far. Havent heard any other good ones

I think those two are the most solid releases so far. The Messy Marv, Keak, PSD cd as well, but based on the first post, doesn't seem like he wants this one mentioned in the thread.

I feel you Madd Dogg there hasn't been anything out there worthy of picking up. The only music out the Bay Area that's worth picking up is "Da Bidness" with P.S.D, Keak and Messy. It's a good album and knocks the whole way thru. It's been 3 months and I haven't seen any buzz with any Bay rappers except for Ya Boy. This guy is really trying to network with different cats and trying to do something different. I might have to go pick up The Rise.
