I hate to burst your bubble, but if I took a 2600 stall and 3.73's in my LS1/6, I'd pull high 11's in it. 4.56 gears and a 4000 stall are way too much for anything stock. Real talk.
dude wants to keep changing it, so he can feel right, he is just a dummy, but also, adding mods doesnt make your car run 11's automatic, you gotta run the number!!! stock ls1's are about 365 hp at the motor, over 300 at the wheels.

Stock '01 and '02 Ls1's are about 300 to 316hp @ the rear wheels. Some cars dynoed higher than others. The exceptions were some of the Collector Edition's and Firehawk's that would pull numbers above 320 @ the rear wheels. The '00 and previous models dynoed in less than 300 @ the wheels. The EGR and the lack of an LS6 intake can be thanked for smaller numbers.

Cool car, but it's nearly on the same level as buying a 300C cuz EVERYBODY HAS THEM.

You should have gotten a Shelby GT500 though.

I personally would build a 1993 5.0 LX Mustang though.

Why dont you check ls1tech.com. It has times for the fastest stock motor cars. They pretty much all have High stall and lots of gear.

I'm familiar with both LS1.com and LS1TECH.com, but I can tell you that those motors are running full bolt-on's. It may be internally stock, but they have been modified. It should come as no surprise seeing as how the LS1 is the most responsive to bolt-on's. Please don't tell me to view the forum dedicated to a car that I own again. I'm well aware of how they handle and the performance that can be derived from adding parts.

The cars with the big gear, and stalls, are the low 11 second/high 10 second cars.
