10/20 Seattle, WA - El Corazon
The Fall of Troy w/ Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Protest The Hero
4:30pm

That's like 3 of my top 5 bands. And the greatest, most awkward thing ever with Kay Kay playing with those two bands lol.

haha ya man, I'm just mad cuz last time TFOT were here I told Andrew that they need to tour with PtH and he said they really wanted to but PtH's guitarist can't get thru customs for some reason. And now they're playing together but none of the shows are near Chicago.

I hope Kay Kay plays in between them. I'd pay to see all the scene kids sit thru this

Have you checked out Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground Jesse? It's great stuff. It's good "poppy" indie rock. Like you know, if Panic At the Disco actually had some talent.

The first time I really checked out their music at all was at Endfest. They put on a great show and I automatically became a fan.

*edit*

Sadly I'll prob be missing this show because I'm already pretty booked up with concerts for Oct and can't take more time off.

Oct is going to be a great show month for me though,

Oct 4th - Built To Spill
Oct 9th - Metric
Oct 11th - Jimmy Eats World
Oct 18th - Interpol
Oct 22nd - The Cave Singers (great Seattle band, folky type rock, click here to check them out.)

I wanted to go to the Modern Life Is War and Trap Them show tonight but I need a day off from the outside world.

Let me tell you about my Kay Kay experience

It started about 5 mins ago with me clicking on Buzz's link.

**************
1 min in - "Hey this is some slow ass shit, why did I switch away from my hard, heart-pumping rock & metal, for this slow beat?"

2 min - ::bobbing my head::

3 min - "ughhh this shit is pretty sick. even though its got a slight country appeal, for some reason im getting down with it so big.)"

5 min - "songs done, and that was some fucking good music."

***********

Pretty much how it went. You fuckers have introduced me to a lot of groups I'd never hear about otherwise, and i was seriously ALREADY the most diverse person you'd ever meet. Much respect to ALL of you for that.

lmao
Kay Kay's all over the place. It reminds me a lot of the Beatles/Beach Boys more psychadellic stuff. The lead singer Kirk and the piano player Kyle are the bassist and piano player from Gatsbys American Dream. They actually just started another band called Wild Orchid Children that are pretty cool.
