So has anyone from Strange addressed why they havn't talked to IcyRock about releasing the tracks. You would think that they would jump on the chance to release the tracks as a "Vintage Tech" type of cd. Shit would sell, probably way more money then they'll have to pay out to get the tracks. Simple business, they could pay for it now, sit on it for another year and release it with some publicity and they'll have another CD on the Billboard top 200. Seems obvious to me... but maybe just me.

My guess is, Travis doesnt wanna fuck with it while they are recording new music and touring. Also get a feeling they dont wanna give Icy Roc shit, or this would be done by now.
yeah but why pass up an opportunity to give your fans what they want, and to MAKE MONEY. Granted they get their's, but when you have the chance to cash in on shit you've already made and the fact so many people have been anticipating the release, you can't just go, oh well. You figure that shit out. Fuck whats a few stacks when your going to be pulling at least 6 figures upon release. I mean come on.

It also has NOTHING to do with Travis or Strange Music... so its not stuff "they" have recorded. Its gonna have to be settled between Tech and Icy. Since Techs in the studio or touring, thats probably not happen. In all honesty, most Tech fans know NOTHING about NNUTTHOWZE anyway, so how is that what the fans want? Its what the siccness and older fans want.

I dont know...talk to Tech or Travis next time they're in your town.

Roc did the talk box on In The Air though, and I'd guess he didn't do it as a freebie either. Whether they're going to release it or not, I'm surprised it hasn't been pushed to get their hands on it solely to have it in the vault.

Then again, who's to say they haven't, and it's not locked up at Strange Music headquarters right now? After all, it has been well over a year since Roc said he was sitting on it.

I don't know man, it just seems like it would only be a postive for strange to get their hands on the material, and ant what i meant by what THEY have already recorded I meant what TECH has already recorded, I know about NNUTTHOWZE, but wouldn't you think that fans, whether or not they know bout NNUTTHOWZE or not would want to hear this? I can understand if ICY refuses to release the tracks, what i can't understand is if the cat wants to put them up for sale, why strange wouldn't want to pick them up. If i were them I would look at those tracks as giant money signs, cause thats what they will make from it. muchos gudda $$$$$$$$$

Im not understanding why you think it will make so much money...It will be like normal Tech albums and 50% of people will just download it. NNUTTHOWZE, imo wont generate anymore revenue than KOD or any new material.

Maybee they are saving it till they hella rich .. Waitin for the right time is the best business move .
Like tech said, the old shit they still do at shows cos the energy and sound is still relevant. So in like 5 years they probably gonna be doing alot more shit off Everready or Killer that they wouldn't normally do on shows now.
You got talent? strategize the success of it and streeeeetch it out for dollers

Yeah but it won't cost them the studio time, or any of the extra shit exept pressing, album art work, and paying off ICY. I don't know what all the lagistics are i guess but I would have to presume that a NNUTTHOWZE release would at least make more than AP Angellic and VT. Also if it got proper marketing (which granted with strange is a BIG IF) It could very well be up there with killer and K.O.D. with less expense then those two albums, giving you more money to be able to put into marketing or to put into merch or w/e they want. It's just extra cash in their pocket, theres really no downside to it.

Sell more than Absolute Power? You're insane. AP remains Tech's highest selling album to date. Anghellic hasn't topped it, Everready, Killer... His other albums are lucky to do half of what AP did. So if his solo albums filled with new material can't top it, a VT like album (which sold 83,000, FYI) of Nutthowze material isn't going to top the 300,000 AP has done.

Thanks for backing me with the stats.

Back in August, it was at 296,265. You can easily round that off to 300,000 though I think in the past year, it's probably pushed past the 300,000 mark by now.
