I am just not feeling Tech like I used to.

I think he is tryin too hard to make it big now a days. I mean I still LOVE Tech, I always will cuz his shit moves me no other artist can. But with his new look (The cut hair, the chains ect...) I just dont really feel like he is bein his true TECH N9NE... Mr. FUCK THE INDUSTRY, "FUCK YOU Im gonna do my shit the way I wanna do it and fuck you your still gonna love me and buy my shit"

A couple of gurls I know, who are TOTALLY into mainstream rappers like Luda, Jeezy, Eminem ect. ect. They dont know ANY rap songs unless they are on TV... EXCEPT Tech N9ne, because I put them up on him like 2 years ago. And they absolutly love them. Because he always so much different, and never gave a fuck about his appearance or attitude. Then I showed them the Bout To Bubble video and they were completely dissapointed. As soon as it was over their first question was "What the Hell happened to him?" They werent at all diggin him, simply for the fact they he changed his hair, he was tryin to dress more poppy, and wearin his chain like all other big rappers.

This along with just seein the types of songs he put on his new album, just makes me feel like he is now tryin TOO hard to make it big and is kinda willing to sacrafice pieces of himself to do it...

Now dont get me wrong... Everready I feel is the SHIT... He comes hard with all his rhymes, but I just feel like it is lackin ALOT of his old darkness type of feel. His only real dark songs on the album are Come Gangster and My World, ROOT a lil bit. But really everything else is kind of club kinda hits. But where are the "Trapped in a Psychos Body", "Sinister Tech", "Tormented", "Cursed" kind of songs? Thats what I was really lookin forward to hearin on his new album, that kind of shit.

Now some may argue, he has evolved, just like everyone else, and his style will always change with time. Which is true, but the darkness is what made me fall in love with him, the extreme diversity in his rhymes is what attracted myself and so many others to his music in the first place, sort of a window into another world people could step into outside of all the bullshit mainstream rap shit.

I just feel like his lack on that on this new album, and his whole appearance change has possibly made him not so much lose fans, but definatly questioning his heart in the game. Iv played his album for so many people, some long time fans like me, and some who have just been turned onto him recently, and the concensus is, is that he is doin much club pop kinda shit....

This post is based mostly of just what Iv seen in others reactions. Im not really sure how to feel about it. Anywayz go ahead and start with the bashing....

absolute power had more party songs on it then everready, and if u ask me the spiked red hair was a gimmick. u act like he had that for a long time cuz he really didnt. and u say ur friends liked him for who he was and then said what happened to him cuz he cut his hair and wears a chain now lol. and if u ever met tech u would know he loves to party and what type of songs do u think someone who loves to party would make? so i think ur completetly stupid for even postin this but hey its ur opinion i guess but it seems like u dont know tech as much as u think u do

If you aren't feeling him... let the thousands of other people enjoy the great music he puts out there. Everready is amazing. I hope he really does finally "make" it.

Right or Wrong.....dude has a right to an opinion.
i agree but he sayin shit that aint true and doesnt make sense. he shoulda just left it at the title cuz when he tried sayin why he dont like his new style, it made him sound like an idiot IMO

at the top said im not feelin tech the way i used to and then at the bottom hes sayin hes not sure how he feels about him and that these are other ppls opinions

he says how he has party songs now, but he always had party songs.

the whole 3rd paragraph is just one big contradiction

he also says hes tryin too hard to make it big now when in this is me he says how he pretty much wants it big but he aint changin his raps for which he didnt.

personally i think hes just mad that he cut his hair off and i think he wasnt likin tech for his skill but for his look, and if it isnt that he should be smarter with what he says cuz this thread made him sound like a dumb ass.

i find it funny how people get upset over tech cutting off his hair. i don't see people flipping out over luda cutting his off. i listen to tech for his style in flow, not his style in hair and clothes.

i saw an interview with luda sayin he cut off his hair cuz it was time to grow up and be a man lol. so everyone with cornbraids or long hair is immature. i dont think he meant it like that but thats what it seemed lol

I hate to tell you this Theezy, but Tech's BEEN trying to make it big... hell, especially since he has bills to pay and a family to feed. Atleast he's making it big with his own style and he can choose to rap MORE to the underground fans' likings whenever he wants.

Yo Theezy..... this is the same Tech N9ne that you love, but just a little more grown up. It's like a combo of growing up AND getting back to his roots. Anyone that has followed Tech for more than just the last five years knows that this image that Tech is putting out there now is more "him" than ever before!

Real talk ^^^^^

If you been down since before the spiked hair and all that shit and seen him know he looks more like the old Tech then before. Look at CBTS the Works and Celcius (lol) He didnt start the whole spiked hair till Anghellic came out through the FTI campaign and Absolute Power. Everready is like his whole career to date summed up in one album. Thats why he got dudes like Brotha Lynch and Delima on a track but he got songs like the Rain on the same album. Thats old school and new together.

Oh yeah w/ dudes friends .. did he let them hear the whole album or just the Bout to Bubble Video..not everyone is gonna like all Techs songs, and I wouldnt expect females that dont realy listen to rap to like his shit that much anyway...

Opinions are like assholes tho......everyones is shitty anyway lol
