question about season 3 of The Wire

didn't Jerrod and that cross-eyed motherfucka get killed when they don't wait for the phone call from Cuddie and Slim Charles?...then on a later episode it show those two tryin to kill Omar when he goes to pick up his grandmother. wtf?

Nah remember he jumped out the car window and ran up the street. Remember Cuddie came up the alley and saw Jerrod running up the street. Then when they was telling Avon what happened Cuddie said till he shows back up they don't know what happened out there.
