Contests:
Contests will be held every month beginning in AUGUST 2007!!!
Every month jmackmusic.com will hold a contest for ALL RAPPERS AND SINGERS!!!
Every month J.Mack will compose an Exclusive track to be used for the contest. The track will be downloadable for ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
Participants will download the track and record a full song to the beat using all verse and chorus spots in the beat. Artists will then submit the finished product to J.Mack @:
[email protected]
At that time, J.Mack, his artists, and other well rounded producers will select the best song. The artist with the best song will receive the wav files to the contest beat for supreme mixing power sent to their mailing address along with 10 free instrumentals of choice (a $220 value) + the winning song will be used as the site intro for a period of time no less than one week and the artist’s myspace page will be promoted on jmackmusic.com for One Year!.!.!.
RULES:
Contest beat will be available for free download within the first 3 days of each month.
All songs must be submitted to
[email protected] by the 22nd day of each month (anytime before 12am the following day) to qualify.
All songs must be complete to be considered for the prizes.
i.e. – If the contest beat has an INTRO – 3, 16BAR VERSES – 3 HOOKS – OUTRO, the artist must record 3, 16 bar verses and 3 hooks. Intros and outros can be left blank but is at the discretion of the artist.
Groups or solo acts are welcome to enter.
JUDGING:
All songs will be judged fairly with no prejudice according to the following:
Song topic
Verse/hook coordination (how far from subject do you stray?)
Rhyme Scheme
Lyricism
Fullness of recording
Recording Quality (windows recording mixer quality won’t be taken seriously)
Swagger
OVERALL SONG QUALITY AND VIBE
