ya, but take into account the age groups. Those sloths get to add on the older group that have no other contact with media besides those radio shows. Take them away and I'm sure they wouldn't be much bigger than stern...
bla, bla, bla. the same can be said about stern. take off the 30 and under group and what is stern left with?????????????

First of all, the reason Limbaugh wasn't taken off of the air was because his listeners were not considered swing voters. You know damn well each and everyone of them were devote to one side or the other, most likely the republican way. You look at Stern, who is undeniably as far away from political talk as you are gonna get, when he says *titties - vote kerry - titties* people are going to be persueded. Not only will they get off on the tit-factor, they are going to be more likely to punch a chad for the Kerr-bear.

He goes anti-bush and Clear Channel drops him... if you don't think that has anything to with Bush, than I already know who you are voting for this election day, and I can only hope you contract some sort of bed ridden illness that will keep your from the poles on Dirty Tuesday.

im siding with stern on this one even though the way thay talk they make it sound like bush personally banned this guy from being broadcast in america. typical doom and gloom liberal crap. he just got picked up by 9 stations so he gained 3 more markets, i like stern and i can draw the conclusion that his anti bush rhetoric led to his being dropped by clear channel. that is not a crime in and of itself though so quit making it out to be. whiners.

ya, he is so huge that in all his many years on the radio his audience is HALF the size of upstart Sean Hannity's Radio Show and only 1/3 the size of Rush' show.

as a matter of fact i think it is tied with Dr. Laura radio show
By what you have provided Howard Stern is in the TOP 3 .... and notice that at the top of that it does says MINIMUM WEEKLY cume (MILLIONS)

Are you trying to say that he has no effect on persuading people to vote one way or the other?

i think his affect is minimal. conservative that listen to his show will still vote conservative and liberals that listen to his show will still vote liberal plain and simple. i mean intelligent people will go to better sources of information on who to vote for that stern.

Unless you're talking about Nixon, you don't have to be a dick to be impeached. If memory serves me, Clinton was impeached for lying, will Bush be impeached for lying about WMD?

Bush never lied about WMD, he was misinformed..and it was a speech, not a questioning..........Lying to a grand jury about a girl sucking your dick is a whole other issue.

Almost 3 years without another major terrorist attack....i say thats really good. That WAS the goal, wasn't it? Civil rights will catch up once technology catches up.

Yes it is totally different, it has nothing to do with running a country and putting lives in danger. Bush's lie is MUCH worse.

Lying to juries while under oath (and on camera to the entire American audience, to boot) is ALWAYS important, and can undermine the whole of your credibility.

You act like there was forest fires and plagues sweeping the country when this happened, and that everything else got overlooked during the Lewinsky matter. Clinton was a man of inaction and it was business as usual. No need to nit pick.

A mistake, yes...but in the grand scheme of things...a technicality used for partisan purposes..the equivalent of a traffic ticket turning into a warrant.

Almost 3 years without another major terrorist attack....i say thats really good. That WAS the goal, wasn't it? Civil rights will catch up once technology catches up.
Tom Ridge, interviewed by Charlie Rose, admitted that since 9/11 there have been little to no terrorist plots in America that they've uncovered...at least nothing with respect to the scope or scale of 9/11. Everybody constantly harps on the fact that there have been no major terrorist attacks. Tom Ridge himself, head of the HSA, testified that they had uncovered no such plots in that time. So basically...yes, there were no major terrorist attacks, but the U.S. also found no evidence that any were planned.

^^ And its hard to plan things and secure funding when you KNOW that the United States will go T2 on your ass, track you down and destroy you and everyone in your organization.
