my dude, you ever think of learning a trade?
if you get approved for unemployment by some stroke of luck, go down to your local EDD office, become a member, and inquire about getting some funding for trade school. you can get unemployment while you in trade school. its a lot of paperwork and hoops to jump thru but well worth it.
Walmart will hire literally anybody no offense chree or tweeze, but they hire retards... like my homeboy. This is the biggest blackest dumb stumblin bumblin fumblin n mumblin ass nigga u ever saw. He got high and came in to get a application, went home, got high, applied, then he got high and went to the interview and they told him "Um, sir... you failed the drug test. Welcome to wal mart". And im not telling a funny story that is exactly what happened
there are cases where ppl get UP being discharged with cause. I know people with a real stable job history who were fired with cause and got at least partial amount. A lot of factors go into it, job history, and the rep that approves/denies you, etc. The last factor seems to matter the most, like if you get a rep who got real good head that morning, he just may throw you a bone.
But not showing up, or job abandonment, probably wouldnt get it. I do know a girl who got it for resigning but she claimed harassment and had to go through this long ass appeal.
