Too many fights to keep count.
How ever I haven't gotten into a street fight in years ever since I broke my right hand on some sucka's nose.

Usually it doesn't hurt.
Once your adrenaline is flowing, your body numbs up and you can't feel the blows.

The only time I experienced pain during a fight was when I shattered my middle finger knuckle.
You can definately feel that as it happens.
Other than that, there is no pain.
Only after the fight, your adrenaline goes away and in comes the pain.

How long does the pain last?
Depends on the injuries.
Or are you reffering to the fight?
Fights usually last from just a few seconds, to a few minutes.
The longest street fight I've had was just 3 minutes at best.
Usually they end by quick knock outs or they end because security or the police are on their way.

Now that's a good question, usually fights don't go the way you envision them to go. Most people never envision an ass whoopin, imagine their surprise when they get the beat down? LOL!
That's why most fights take place in the first place, had you known you were gonna get a beatin, you wouldn't had stepped up in the first place.

Fights are unpredictable, I always see myself knockin some one out cold. Usually what happens is that the other guys starts holdin like a bitch after he tastes a right hand.
Or the fucker pulls out a knife, picks up a bottle, or one of his boyfriend's jumps in.

As for me, all of my fights at least end in the way I envision them to end... But that's just me... It varies from person to person....

now i know you been in sum fights migg.

as for does it hurt?

the only time i really really been hurt during a fight was a few shots accumulated all together then before i can finish my own thought about getting hit again (got hit) then fell out.

i can really take a shot.that last hit was a body blow i was'nt expecting right in the wind pipe.

usually punches don't hurt but you feel sore the next day.

and about how long it lasts? usually not long but like you said it depends.

and practice? when it really goes down i find myself doing different shit everytime.so each time i learn sumthing new.

I been hit wit a bat, a bottle, and a piece of pipe, which ain't that much considerin I never got stuck or popped at, but the worst pain I ever felt was one time I got kicked in the eyeball, like directly in the damn center. That shit had me down and out for at least a day, couldn't do shit but walk around hurtin.

When the pain comes its usually afterwards unless you get a big injury sometimes you can feel it at the time, broken bones, etc.

I try to avoid fights. I'm 21 now, grown up, not ready to get locked up or fucked up because of some little kid bullshit, bump into a mothafucka and they start flexin, that just ain't worth my time.

Then again if it's on it's on you just gotta win, but as my mentality and maturity have advanced, the number of fights I have been in has probly been less than five. I think when you young, you think about it like "Ooh ima fuck this dude up thisll be tight", but when you get older you think about consequences, girlfriends/friends, police, injuries, etc. etc.

I forgot about body blows.
In boxing, that's the only punch that hurts.
I've never had the wind knocked out of me, but I do it often.
And from what I see, it really hurts.
Here's the trick to throwin good body punches if you're lucky to enough to be a right handed fighter.
The trick is not to throw body punches with your right hand.
It's very difficult to hit someone in the right spot with the right hand. So the left hook to the body always works.
Do it when they least expect it, up close while their catching their breath.
Just sit back and watch drop in pain....

i dont get in street fights i just whip out boxing gloves wit homies or someone who just wants a challenge, the trick to not gettin the wind knocked out of you is to regulate your breathing like the boxers do and flex your stomach muscles before you punch or think your about to be punched, my favorite tactic when im boxin a bigger guy or at least the same six is to jab then step in uppercut, body blow left, body blow right, head down step out strong straight punch, its a good combo to catch people with and usually ends or stops the fight for a second, the trick to winning a fight of course is envision you winning, cuz of course u cant go into a fight like "damn im bout to get the shit beat out of me" cuz then you will.

as for the pain, everybody has been right so far, adrenaline takes all the pain away, but about 10 minutes after the fight youll feel exactly where u got hurt and itll feel worse in the morning ive found that keeping your head down and throwin quick uppercuts keeps you from gettin hit in the nose as most ppl that dont kno how to box dont keep there arms close enuff to their body or their arms up to guard themselves, and if i was ever to get in a street fight with sumone who had a weapon or 2 vs me....im goin straight for the windpipe, and thumbs in the eyeballs then ducking out of the scene

body blows are crucial. even if the person doesnt go down it will take a lot out of them and they will get tired quick. "Fatigue will make you a coward", as my boxing coach Bill Graham would've said. plus a lot of times people move their head a lot and its hard to get a clean hit. With the body its a bigger target and they cant dodge punches as quick.

It was my second time sparring. i went to the stockton boxing club w/my coach. Anyways me and dude was supposed to box a 3 rounder. I caught'em with two clean straight rights to the gut when he tried to rush. After the first round he just hopped out of the ring and took off. Pretty embarassing for him since I was visiting his club. Point is, body punches do damage.

If you're going to get into a fight nowadays, you better have some wrestling skills.

No one squares up anymore.

On a side note, I got sucker punched in the temple one time...I was woozy for a couple days after that.

That's why I said I haven't gotten into a fight in years.
At first it was because as you get older, you get stronger.
Thus you end up hurting yourself in the process of hurting someone else. Hence my busted knuckles on my right hand.

But that was then. Now I don't fight because I believe in what Jesus said, "turn the other cheek"....
It's very difficult cuz I'm a hot tempered person.
But so far I've been able to keep my demons in check....

Back to the subject, I too like to throw the gloves on in an attempt to avoid any fight.
I do it every time some one's challenging me to a fight.
I tell them I only fight in the ring, and then it's over.
So far it's worked every time, cats just back off....

Yeah wrestling helps at all times.
How many times have you guys gotten into a fight where you're beatin the shit out of the other guy and he starts holding you?
I hate that shit, I took some Jui Jitsu so I know now what to do next time I'm in that situation.
Arm bars and chokes hahahaha....
