How many of you drink on the job??? be honest!

Used to drink on the job a lot in my Army days in Germany. There would be times when we would have 18 hour work days for a month straight with no days off trying to get equipment ready to go for missions so we'd say fuck it and drink. A lot of people in Germany would drink this German brand of juice, some of us would take the apple juice, dump out half of it and fill the other half with Hennessy and sip throughout those long ass work days.
its up to your higher ups whether or not they will allow that type of shit, i wouldnt snitch a person out i believe theyll eventually ruin it for themselves....lucky if your job gives you rehabilitation options if you fuck up...i was recently told a pretty fucked up story on how someone ruined a 35.00+ hour job and now hes picking cans up..i think at some age you should smarten up but who am i to tell another adult male what he or she should do with their lives. i once drank on the job im pretty much totally against it now, especially if you drive or deal with the public...but i dont drink alcohol at all anymore as is its just bo..alcohol does nothing good to me physically
About ten years ago I went with my company to a fair in Duesseldorf for Promotional Items where we had a booth. I used to be a purchasing manager but had to help out talking to customers at the fair. One night we all went out partying after the fair. I ended up smoking weed at 5am with a colleague after drinking all night. Got up at 7am back to the fair. Had a customer right away when I got there. Talked to them for an hour. After they left I sat down and talked to my colleague and he told me that my breath was so bad, I smelled like a crack head alcoholic homeless guy...
Suprisingly nobody snitches and even if they did, management don't care so long as you can do your job but if you start to fuck up the alcohol will get blamed. I work closely with both professional and technical workers and those doing labour work ie unpacking containers. They have a drink and if they get too drunk it doesn't matter because they are no risk to anyone. It's the guys on the 12 tonne and up forklifts that don't drink during work because of accidents in the past. The office folk, it doesn't really matter either but they are usually on the phone with clients and other people, so obviously they can't get smashed.

I work in a 'corporate environment' and were actually allowed to drink on breaks and lunch. It actually says in our handbook that its ok to drink off work premises and come back to work, as long as you're not too impaired to fully perform your job functions. With that said, I don't do it often. Ive had a beer once or twice on lunch. I've smoked before work a number of times though.
