***sits and waits for XPanther206 to show up and brag about his local music collection***

lol
lmao, yeah D-Sane, I know I like to point that out. I counted yesterday, and I currently have , 107 cds from the 206, 24 cds from the 253, and 4 from Bremerton (so 135 NW total). But c'mon, it is something to be proud of. 1) It's hard to build such a collection. Mostly it's at the Moms and Pops, but I've had to scratch real deep a couple times. 2) It shows where my $$$ priority is. I don't have much spending money, but when I do this is where I put it. Obviously I haven't got any new clothes or shoes in forever, don't have anything at all on my ride. Of course I ain't claiming to be poor (I know what the perception of Seattle Prep is), but I don't have a lot to spend, and when I do, it's for the 206 rap game (b/c it's WORTH IT you'all). It also shows my people skills (yeah right, just kidding, I have shitty people skills), because the majority of the albums i've got I negotiated to a significantly discounted price.

So you're DAMN FUCKING RIGHT I am going to brag about my collection, lol. (I posted 40+ obviously too D)

I've had so many North/South/East coast cd's its REDICULOUS....from Jadakiss to Jay-Z to Nas to Beltway 8 to Swisha House to Screwed Up Click to Lil Keke to Lil Wayne to Lil Flip to Lil Ron to Lil Romeo to the Yin Yang Twinz and everything else inbetween...

Dont blame me for not owning a studio...i aint 28. By the time im 28, ill own a studio, but until then...im 18, and ive got school and a bachelors degree in linguistics and learning 5 languages (english, spanish, italian, portugese, french) to concentrate on....and thats no joke, im seriously plannin to learn all 5 of those.

So...whats left to say, really? You say your emotion-filled, anger-packed comments, and I....well, do the opposite of what you're used to: I dont back down or throw threats at you.

You've gotten MY respect with your words in the past...true...and i might have gotten YOUR respect from my words...true as well...but now you switchin up on me

...and i aint feelin that.
Seriously, that language thing is pretty cool. I hope you go do that.
But D seems switching up on you b/c you don't even own 1 fucking NW cd. Not b/c you don't have studio time.

You wasted alot of money then.
Yeah right......I'm "in the business"......so most of them were given to me by the artists or labels. I give mad CD's away as well to industry folks.......

What I hate are the fools that want to charge you.....when ya'll really in the same business. T-Kid did that to me when the second Self Tight dropped.......made me pay for the shit......how rude!!!!

1 is i know whats goin on around me, and everywhere else..so when i hear a style, i can place it geographically with someone else, and give people feedback...or ideas...or ways to switch up the flow...or freestyling/wordplay/writing techniques to try...im a well-rounded lyricist, think what you want about my vocal skills, but my lyrics speak for themselves...

2..thats comin..100% of profits is for more equipment/supplies, not clothes, not car parts, not NOTHIN else! material shit can eat a dick up, im all about gettin equipment and learning how to use it...

So um... any more rants? :D

@ Tadou

I heard your product, and I feel that you aren't qualified to say some of the things that you keep posting on the boards regarding NW hip-hop. I can understand if you are this ferocious lyricist, or tremendously talented artist, but from listening to your music, this is not what I got from your music.

I understand that everyone has their opinion, but I feel that if your an artist, you yourself need to be on a certain level. I have alot of pride for my region, and I feel that you keep disrespecting what is going on in the NW with your remarks.

I think that you should put more thought into your opinions of NW hip-hop before you go out on a limb and say some of the things that you say about the music of this area.

I wish you the best in your endeavors. There is heat in the NW.

Hopefully this won't get erased.

I'll post my collection on Sunday.

p.s. Centralia's near Aberdeen, maybe Tadou'll come out and watch, LMAO.

1A...try going from your Multi-Thousand-Dollar studio to a 2 1/2 year old Pentium computer, and *THEN* try recording your whole album STRICTLY with computer programs...

1B...If i was in a real "studio", with trained professionals and surrounded with a business atmosphere...my lyrics wouldnt sound like that...not to diss on my rhyming counterparts, but im the--well--"most well rounded" artist out of our group...

1C...If i was in the lab with some "NW Heat"---like the, apparent, NW "superstars" that are special enough to grace your Northern Lights Compilation---Then i'd be on the first single you put out from the album...and you could count on it!

2...So what...if people cant take criticism, they need to improve their style and stop borin the fuck out of me when they flow...

3A...I put lots of thought into my posts, its just not the same thoughts that you have...my thought/logic/reasoning processes are VERY complex...i could either be a lawyer or control a whole city's drug supply :D

(Personal Thoughts Time)

Im not buying "Northern Lights" *OR* Big Squeeze's albums (among others)...and the reason is simple: Refusing to work with lesser known names and underground artists, and focusing on Gassed-up, About-To-Be-Washed-Up, 1- local -Hit-Wonders...oh...and the 50 collaborations with the bay artists instead of these NW lyricists, who are among the MOST HARDEST WORKING IN THE COUNTRY...

Since the albums are lookin more like "LOOK WHO WE'RE FRIENDS WITH!" instead of "Look What Local Talent We Discovered And Developed!"

...So, I wont pay my (soon to be STRICTLY NW supporting) money for them...But Then Again, Its Just 1 less sale...

Which is No big Deal...Right?
