i played the single parent role w/my oldest daughter (19 now)........
raised her on some single dad shit when she was 4 until she turned, 8......
SUPPOSEDLY, her mom was in jail.........
all i kno is that her mom dropped her off w/a trash bag full of dirty clothes, and told me "it's ur turn".......
smh..... gotta do what u gotta do....

Thanks, Ben. We'll see how great of an impact he had on me as a father when I have children of my own. I hope to be able to be as patient, humble, and protective with my kids as he was.
I've been really blessed with both parents who are kind of my friends parents, too. That's the role both Mom and Dad took in their lives, so their reach is really broad. That, to me, is the coolest thing about my parents.

patience, humbleness, and protection is something that all parents need to have.......
i spoil my kids..... gotta hold them to a higher standard than what im willing to accept........ i guess that's called SACRIFICE....
when u find the right/or wrong woman to birth ur seed, the needs of that child will always supercede what BOTH of ya'll THINK ya'll want.....

i do my best thats all we should expect from each other.. i know people either at work or in my family that jus shit out kids and dont give a fuck.... best i can do is try and raise a good person and have the most fun doing it.... its hard but worth it...
