To answer your question, NO I didn't want McCain to win. I think I've been clear from the jump that I didn't think either candidate was a good look. HOWEVER, I remember thinking Clinton was going to fuck up, but he was a good president. SO, I give the same consideration to Obama...and I'm happy he won. I hope he does a good job.

I don't care. Obama is black to me, but I also know he's half white. If he's the first black president, whatever, good for him. He's the first president that is not 100% "white". That in itself is a major stepping stone if you ask me...

For the sake of the continuing argument in this thread, I've never met anybody who was HALF that claimed to be just BLACK! It's always "1/2 black/Filipino...or half black/Italian...or Half black/mexican". That's just the way most cats present themselves.
