You're likely to find that those who claim he is not black are the very people who used the absence of a black president, and/or the objection to the thought that there will ever be one, as a means to exemplify the imbalance between blacks and whites.

25% of the US slave population at one time was mullatto... even those who were 25% black (quadroons) were slaves... such as Sally Hemmings... There was also plenty of 1/8th black (octoroon) slaves... like Sally and Thomas Jefferson's kids!

...so finding a brotha who is - geneologically speaking - of pure African descent can be a bit of challenge...

I guess most niggas in the US is some kinda droon if you wnna get in this shit. There wouldn't be no real pop. of black people if we was to try to base who is black off of blood.
