that 96 yard run was pretty dope. That stiff arm he had was dope too.

One of my favorite Barry Sanders memories was him having 2 80 yard runs in one game against the Buccs. He used to get caught from behind on long runs like that but he found another gear the last couple years of his career or something.

I totally forgot about that. I didn't really think about that, but that was the only 2 times in history that had happen in one game too. Gore had a 79 and 80 yard run, barry had an 80 and 82.
Ill always respect frank gore not just for those two runs but for all the work he's put in against the seahawks. I can't say anything bad about frank gore

Room temperature IQ, reads at a 3rd grade level, 4th lowest Wonderlic Score in the history of the NFL...

Despite only getting 6 questions right on the wonderlic, the 49ers selected Frank Gore 65th overall in the third round of the 2005 NFL draft. Some may think that intelligence is not a needed quality for a running back, but that is something of a falsehood-- running backs have to learn blitz pickup schemes, have to excercise patience sometimes in waiting for running lanes to develop, and often have to learn routes and offensive schemes for catching passes whether it be in the backfield, or anywhere upfield. Such things take study, and memorization. So let's not gloss over the obvious, there's been plenty of running backs who couldn't stick in the NFL becuase they couldn't grasp the offense or weren't able to learn and adjust to pick up free blitzers. As far as Gore himself, he's probably the most successful player on this list, as he has become a fearsome running back in the NFL, a veritable force to be reckoned with. He has a host of accolades to his name, and has rushed for nearly 10k yards and amassed 60 rushing TDs. Frank Gore is certainly the poster child for players who didn't let the wonderlic hold them back.
4. Frank Gore -- RB -- Wonderlic Score: 6 - TheRichest

barry sanders is the greatest!! if the lions didnt screw him over, he probably would have topped 20,000, emmit smith was struggling to pass payton's all time record and didnt even touch 1,000 his last 3 seasons.

1. barry sanders
2. walter payton
3. emmit smith
4. erik dickerson
5.ladianian tomlinson/marcus allen

6...eddie george. go titans. fuck you haha.

lynch isn't even in my top 15!! what has he really done to solidify himself as a top ten rusher of all time? nada fucking thing. he has had a few good games, now he's top ten ever! pssh. wilson will be top 10 qb before lynch is top ten rb!!

how can you rank him in your top ten when in 3 seasons. he played 29 games, while he rushed for less than 1200 yards TOTAL. get the fuck outta here!! in three years .....1200 yards? hall of fame numbers huh! hardly.

eddie george played far better than lynch has his first 8 seasons in the nfl! he touched 1000 almost 8 years straight!

there are a few running backs that just in a few years in the nfl had a bigger impact on the field than he has!--jamal lewis, priest holmes, shit fred taylor is a better rb than lynch!

lynch has wilson and a great defense. not the other way around!

Lynch was 3rd best running back for the 2014 season (after Le'Veon and DeMarco) and that's about it. He's had 4 good seasons in Seattle. 4 good seasons puts you on Jon Kitna/Jeff Garcia level.

He's 35th in overall rushing yards all time behind people like Ahman Green, Shawn Alexander, Clinton Portis, Ricky Williams, Tiki Barber, Jamal Lewis, Cory Dillon, Fred Taylor, etc. He's not even the best RB in Seattle history. His cousin is Jamarcus Russell.

And if you were starting a team, which of those people are you picking over a prime Lynch? Portis, Alexander, Ricky Williams, Barber? Lol go right ahead

Fred Taylor put up numbers, but he was not a better RB than Lynch. Not even close. Stats are part of the story, not the whole story.

Here is a stat for you: Lynch leads the league in broken tackles....he has twice as much as number 2. Yes, you read that correctly.

Sorry, i had totally forgotten they gave him the ball on the half yard line...oh wait.

Either way, trying to imply that one game or even one PLAY defines a persons' career is a terrible reach, even for you lame ass. Lynch is one of your own...embrace him.

exactly, he led the league in yards after contact for a RB this year as well. Since they've been tracking that stat the only RB that had higher was Peterson a couple seasons ago.

He also averages 5 yards per carry in the playoffs. 77 more yards in the post-season will get him to I believe 7th all time rusher in the post-season.
