I have been to a lot of great shows and a few bullshit shows. But these right here would have been dope to be at.

I am sure at the time the people who were there did not know how special it was. Cuz today and the last few years a majority of the music and performances are so fuckin shitty!

Was at the one in 93 as a youngster cause my older cousin was a huge bay area rap fan and I was a fan too, but I was a huge Roger and Zapp fan at an early age. If I remember correctly, 4-Tay was also there.

^appreciate it fam^

Don't know why, but I always thought the concert was called something else. And at the time, I didn't realize all these artists were there. Looking back, I would have tried to take it all in.

not much to do with the thread, but I remember being at a show in SF with Common opening for The Roots, and Common jumped out into the audience on some stagediving rapper shit and someone took one of his shoes.......then he proceeded to freestyle about his missing shoe for the rest of the night........he even came back on during the Roots set and mentioned it again while freestyling......

years later I read an interview with ?uestlove, the drummer from The Roots with the stupid big afro, and he was asked what his most memorable experience from touring for so long was and he started talking about the show with Common where someone stole his shoe.

I've seen him about 3 or 4 times......he's one of my favs, same with Andre from Outkast & Black Thought from The Roots......i've seen Outkast 3 times and I can't even begin to count how many times I've seen The Roots.....first time I saw them they were on stage for almost 4 hours, every band member would have long as solos doing whatever the fuck they wanted, then the rest of the band would kinda join in.....and Black Thought would freestyle over anything anytime......man, I love concerts......I need to hit up another one, it's been a minute, last one was Nas

Lol, that Common story is funny as hell. When I was posting last night, I had just got home from seeing him and Ludacris at the LA Sports Arena. The sound quality in that place has to be one of the worst ever. Dude killed it though.
