They are most likely not rap enthusiasts tho. Thats why they think its all the same.
At least people into it know it has many of the same messages but can figure out that how you get these messages. The real people will be thier own selves and not make bad choices. they will listen to your music, like it, and hopefully learn.

Pop music tho is always the same and its how people make the trend keep living. It will slowly change to what the masses allow.
Check this out, ADORNO wrote on pop music. You may want to read it its interesting. One problem he sees is that classical music is no longer the base of musical teaching. He does have good points you may add to your music career, he may have nothing you want to ad. But he does have a good theory on the listener.
