Not true. There would have been a second revolution if the US did that. Invade another country without justification? Made up and driven by government controlled media outlets or not, the feds always need a "reason" to justify a "war".

Only with heavy public support will a war sustain life.

government doesn't controll media outlets, its those in power that
do....government just listens.

and i agree with ColdBlooded on his comment about this.

People invent conspiracy theories or charge it to god.

And again (since i was invisible to this post so far)
THE PLANES:
We knew what planes were aloft ans where they were. We landed them and we (maybe) sent planes to the one that was left over Pennsylvania. We didnt need to fly after any others cause we knew they were accounted for and obeying orders to land as soon as possible.

SECOND, IF THE PRESIDENT IS SHOWN PANICING, what do you think the public will do???? He should keep the coolest head of all.

Justification does not have to be substantial. Most of the U.S. interventions over the past several decades have lacked any real justification.

They kick around some shit to the people to justify their imperialism, but it's all still bullshit.

Granada, Panama, whatever you like you can come up with an excuse to do anything.
All agreed, but the situation with Iraq is wholly different than a Granada or a Panama. Bush is looking for an actual "war", not a "conflict" And for that, he needs to drone up a lot of public support. After all the "it-was-all-for-oil" smack aimed at daddy Bush the last time we where in the area, Bush Jr. knows he needs to have a stronger case established to prevent the same backlash. The public is a lil smarter now and will be looking at the situation very closely.

Keeping America's mass vision patriotically blurred is absolutely paramount to his administration.

And i'm interested in this second revolution thing, you mean in the U.S.?
Bwhahahaha! I was being a bit facetious there. Of course not, but it would surely create a huge leg for the anti-war movement to build and stand on.

what you mean, he doesn't HAVE to panic to be concerned. All he had to do was be "sorry kids, gotta go do my job" I dont think when your the president and your told that a plane crashed into a building and more are coming that your first thought is "don't wanna scare the kids" When your told crazy shit their IS a reaction no matter what the circumstances, and you don't just go back to taking pictures when this shit is goin on....

hey heresy, what you know about insurance company's doin shady shit with money days before the towers were hit?

Aye snubnose, I think you totally missed what that cat meant to say. If the president is in a big clusterfuck and all emotional, that would kind of send a impresion to the world that these terroists scored a direct hit...I bet if the presidents daughter was kidnapped or some crasy shit like that, he would act in the same calm/rational matter...you see it appeases to the masses mind to see a steadfast leader.

what does it matter if the president is shocked? People were already shocked to shit by seeing it on the news. Aside from that, like I said, he doesn't have to panic. He should of ended the photo op and got to work. doesn't the fact that he didn't even raise an eyebrow when told, and went back into doing a photo op knowing there are more missing planes out there concern you in the least? if not thats fine but you stilll can't deny some of the facts that heresy is posting as well...

He has nothing to lose and everything to gain by setting it up.
