I always thought D Weezy was your playmaker, as one the top sack getters (no homo). I thought T Newman was the shit for a hot minute. It's yalls safety play that is really bad man it's like playin 9 on 11 on D.
Dez Bryant is off the hook tho and off top Cowboys need to run more 2 TE sets with Witten and Martellius Bennet. I would run all single back, double tights If I get hired as the next Dallas coach. I'll prolly turn that offer down tho cuz coachin fags would suck (lol)
demarcus ware is their best defensive player, he leads the league in sacks despite getting double and triple teamed often...but it would be beneficial to the cowboys defense if someone else in the front seven would put pressure on the opposing qb on a consistent basis
as for terence newman, he was pretty good...a few years ago...he made the pro-bowl twice, but injuries are the main factor as to why his level of play is slowing down...not to mention he's past his prime, and it doesn't help that the cowboys drafted him as a 25-year old rookie
last season, poor safety play was the main reason as to why the cowboys defense was pretty bad...this season, the safeties are playing better, but i think this season, the cornerbacks are giving up some crucial plays, especially within the last few games...i don't know if the injuries they've sustained from earlier this season are still bothering them, but they aren't doing too well right now...especially that useless piece of shit alan ball
as for the offense, i've always thought the two tight end sets was very effective for the cowboys...whether the tight ends line up in-line or in a spread out formation as receivers, the cowboys have done pretty well with this personnel group, and they've been one of the best teams at running the ball with this personnel group...i don't know why the cowboys don't utilize this personnel group more often, but that's up to jason garrett to decide
ROMO IS NOT ONE OF THE BEST QB'S IN THE LEAGUE. AARON RODGERS IS. I WOULD TAKE CAM NEWTON RIGHT NOW WITH NO EXPERIENCE OVER ROMO CUZ HIS STORY WILL ALWAYS BE THE SAME. NICE IN THE STATS DEPT. BUT OVERALL HE SUCCS AS A QB. THATS MY OPINION AND ONLY TONY ROMO CAN CHANGE THAT CUZZ!!!
i agree, tony romo is not one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but i disagree that he sucks...if he sucks, then he wouldn't have a quarterback rating of 100+, so i'd label him as an above average quarterback...yes, there have been games, (and very important ones at that) where he has cost us the game (or advancement in the playoffs), but overall i'd say he's one of the better quarterbacks in the league, he just doesn't have any type of post season success (except for the playoff game vs. the eagles in december 2010) to show for it
