THIS SERIES MIGHT JUST BE A WRAP, FOLKS... TO BE HONEST, THO, WE CANT COUNT THE COYOTES OUT, JUST YET. THERES STILL 2 GAMES THEY NEED TO WIN. AND VANCOUVER TOOK ONE AT STAPLES, SO PHOENIX CAN JUST AS EASILY DO THE SAME!!!

^^^^No 8th seed has ever won. The Ducks were the first team from CA to win though, which is why as much as I hate LA teams I'll support if they win. They're lookin good right now.

They were a 2nd seed when they won it on 06-07......
Bio: Much like the 1995 Rangers, the Ducks were an 8-seed who had also won a Stanley Cup within recent memory. Their roster consisted of holdouts from their 2007 championship team, including the team nucleus of Ryan Getzlaf, Teemu Selanne, Corey Perry, Chris Pronger, and captain Scott Niedermayer. The Ducks proved they were not to be taken lightly when they upset the best regular season team in the first round in San Jose and very nearly beat Detroit in the second round, falling in a tight 7 game series.

The MIGHTY DUCKS were ranked 7th in the western conference in 02-03 and made it to the finals against the New Jersey Devils only to lose in 7 games.....
