My boy from NYC came here and was shocked at the amount of homesless people....thats a scary thought.

That's because Giuliani more or less made it a crime to be a bum. By that I mean they will throw your ass in jail for standing on the corner with a sign or anything of the likes. True story. Most of the homeless are in jail or prison in NYC.

That was just part of his whole clean up the city plan.

if you make so much money, why you so worried?

I'm not even trying to say we need to solve all problems for homeless people, but a lot of the problems of the homeless are shared with poor and under-served communities all over the country.

Most aggressive entrepreneur homeless folks in the nation = Atlanta.

They go up to any white person and offer them "protection" for a couple of bucks, basically saying that Atlanta is a dangerous place and they'll walk with you a few blocks to keep you safe in exchange for a couple of bucks.

I laugh at the folks I see on the freeway exits, especially the ones way the hell out there in the suburbs. But the ones outside the Mission downtown, that's for real right there.
