This is made by the same company that made Frontlines. While not a very popular game ( sniping sucked balls ) I always had fun playing it, with this game it looks like they finally got things right. Hopefully it plays as well as it looks.

i like the idea of it..seems like there's a lot going on...a lot of learning just to blow shit up and that will probably be its downfall

i like the idea of bringing the invasion to US soil...its more of a "what if" situation but could be a possible real life scenario...i am tired of FPS always being in asia, europe, or some other foreign continent..its been done and will always be done...but simulated attacks on america could really bring another aspect and change to war games....as terroristical as it sounds...imagine starting a game in downtown San Francisco and the golden gate bridge was taken out and then all hell broke loose....( or any other area )...what if you werent even a soldier, but just a dude either strapped or told to strap up and defend your country...that would bring this game to life

The concept sounds cool, but I thought the gameplay looked cheesy. The graphics weren't that good, and it just didn't look as appealing as it could be.

They need to do some more refining before they release this game or it won't succeed.

I also agree that setting a game in the US with "what if scenarios" would be awesome. It would be a lot more fun playing in cities that you are familiar with . The overseas stuff is to redundant.

This game looks just like the levels of MW2 that were in the U.S. when the Russians invaded but I guess I am the only person who still plays the campaign in these games anymore. Granted it was only a few levels not the whole game.

they need to make a game called "sleeper cell" or something along those lines....campaigns of terrorist attacks against the US on US soil....some campaigns have you as a soldier some as a civilian fighting....or even a campaign as a terrorist where you can plot and the attack could either fail or go through...thats a fuckin game to get some people outraged...possibly banned

Thats funny shit i wasn't even interested in this game until i watched the trailer and they said they were in Ft Collins CO where i was born..lol I stay in Greeley now but i still go there on the regular. Didn't see nothin that looked to familiar tho but it is some what interesting.. i might cop? On a side note i did a construction job in Ft Collins and you had to have gov. passes to go work on this site that was up in the foothills. Turns out they were turning it into one of like the top 5 Anthrax storage facilities in America. Possibly a plot for the game?

All downloadable content for the America-under-siege title Homefront will come to the Xbox 360 first, similar to extensions for other major titles in the past. Homefront's developer said the PS3 missed out because, well, Sony's not interested.

"Sony really didn't come to us and say, 'We want to support you and get behind you.'" Kaos' Rex Dickson told Eurogamer. "I think their focus right now is on Killzone. So that's really how it all happened."

Killzone's multiplayer beta begins Feb. 2 and ends Feb. 14, and it won't be coming to the Xbox 360, so there. Of course, the whole game isn't, either.

In the remainder of the interview Dickson said Kaos was gunning for a "subtle approach to the oppression," of the occupied United States, then goes on to say we might be watching parents get killed in front of their kids.

"When we first introduced that idea, a lot of the developers weren't comfortable with it - they have families when they go home, they have kids - and were just like, 'Why are we putting this in the game? I don't like this,'" Dickson said. "But we're going for something where we're trying to make the player feel an emotion here."

Dickson said the execution scene doesn't feature gore or graphic violence. It's done off camera. "It's all audio and animation."
