Personally... I've never owned a HollowTip CD unless it was giving to me. I've only liked the songs where he was dissing C-Lim and that's not becuz I dont like C-Lim... but bcuz it was entertaining. I like 80 West & Bugzy if you talking bout rappers in Highlands that got it.

as far as sac artist i bumped lately its been doey, ARG, agustus, gift of gab our shit. ya feel oct
only nigga I've heard of is Doey... so where are the rest of those dudes from, where do they perform, who do they collab with, and where do they promote? I'm in the streets all day like dope... keeping my ear to the streets and I've never heard of them.

There all from sac, aziaddict on here is from ARG. Those cats we collab wit a lot and when we go on our west coast tour there hittin with us. Its funny tho floss since i have moved to downtown thats how i heard of most of the hip hop heads includin doey since he was always out in downtown. When i was livin in south sac (most of my life) i never heard of any artists or shows. now that im in downtown its like a small ass hip hop mecca. we used to have this thing called the connecktion which was us, surge and the whole righteous movement, chuck t (socialistiks), blee, caws, alumni, chase (twicewise, paperchase), trackaddict, md3 and others and get together to make some sac shit happen. i tell you man the more your out in downtown the more you see in sac. thats how i found connections to rasco (kurupts bro), redmans crew, mos def, heiro, doey for example. its weird but a lot of people who handle the business are out in downtown every day mang

I dont think hollow ever fell off. I mean he talk about the same shit sometimes but the nigga never lost it. He has fucked wit alot of producers who make some slappers (Sean T, Baby Bubb, nate the great, Mike Mosely, Big Hollis, T-Lo, Hallway productions(who also did some beats for Ice Cube), H-Wood, to name a few. Hollow Also got a whole album produced by Vince V for SkyHigh Ent (which was never released. So i personally dont think hollow ever fell off.

i thought smuggle and flow was one his best cds for a while, the beats were something different and he came with a fresh approach. what hurt him for me was when he dropped 4 albums back to back in 2004 (ghetto famous, mercenary life, 30 rounds and mercenaries group album) - and they all sounded the same. i can't fault him for gettin his hustle up and he never really came weak he just repeated himself too much.

takin no shortz, flawless, slug 4 slug and even takin no shortz 2 are all tight cds to me, theres not many rap artists worldwide i could say have had 4 tight ass albums. hollow still young, he came in the game young he got many more classics ahead of him im sure.

hollow tip need to come down here to dago and get some fresh production. but other than that to me ain't nobody in sac is fuckin wit his wordplay. the way he put his lines together is ridiculous. he shits on niggas whenever he raps.
