Whats up with the way some of yall are talking about Al Davis? This is the same Al Davis who made your team Excellent for years. There would be no Raiders if it weren't for Al Davis. Didn't you people see this coming? Of course when he gets hella old your team might suffer for a couple years. You had to know that Davis would NEVER just give up on the raiders and hand them off to someone else. He'll be there till he dies, and he has every right in the world to do so. That is his team, he made it great.

Its foul that some fans are sayin he should just die and shit, he will soon enough people, he dont need your wishes to help him get there any faster. Your team looks to be playing a little bit better recently and they have the parts to be good but for some reason they cant put a whole game together. I dunno thats just my opinion and thats what it looks like from a non-raider fans' perspective.
So when your wife, after years of being a great spouse and wonderful mother to your children, decides to fuck your brother and 5 of his friends, record it, and post it on the internet so we can all watch...it's ok, because she gave you some great years.

Yeah, makes sense, dumbass.

I've stated before that I respect and appreciate all the good that Al's done for the organization over the years. He put together great teams that won 3 Super Bowl rings, had numerous hall of famers, pro bowlers, etc.

But the last time we won a ring, I was an infant. Seriously. We've been shit for probably 98% of my life. How does that happen? The Patriots were a horrible team for a long, long time. Now they're one of the elite teams in the NFL. The Bucs were about as shitty as you can get, for years and years...then they slaughtered us in the SB (coached by Jon Gruden, a young coach who Al couldn't get along with and wouldn't relinquish some control to, sound familiar?) ...The Bengals and Browns have improved drastically, the Rams won a SB...pretty much EVERY TEAM has had ups and downs, that's to be expected. We've had downs and downs, with a slight hiccup once in a while, resulting in a rare win. That's pathetic. Other teams have bad seasons, they try to fix it. Bring in new players, draft players at key positions, REBUILD the team. We fire the coach, draft flashy players in between obviously questionable picks, sign and overpay superior teams' throw-aways, and hope for the best.

We have no consistancy, on or off the field. We have great players come in, and treat them like shit. If Jerry Rice and Randy Moss, thee greatest of all time, and one of the greratest of my time, respectively, cannot be productive consistantly and are UNHAPPY, why would another top-tier WR want to play in Oakland? Why would a quality QB want to play in Oakland, when we've had offensive line problems for half a decade? Why would a true shut-down corner want to play in Oakland, when he'd have no help in coverage?

But let's fire Kiffen and let Rob Ryan be the head coach, huh? And stick with Javon Walker, because he can take us to the promise land. And stick with D-Hall, shut-down specialist on Madden '07.

Let's not. Let's actually hire a real GM, and let him have some control. Let's let our coach actually COACH a game. It's easy to give Ryan credit when the DEFENSE makes a play, but when Russell forces a bad pass, or McFadden misses a hole, let's fire Kiffen.

Sit back and enjoy your team, Al. You don't have to die, just make me think you did. Let's have a real, respectable organization. Let's ''just win, baby.''

Raider fans act like they own the Raiders.....
Any fan of any team has the right to be pissed when the owner is fucking shit up. People seem to forget that the fans are what makes any sport what it is. If it weren't for the fans, the owners would be losing money and there wouldn't be an NFL because that shit would have folded long ago. Anybody putting money into the pockets of a team's owner has the right to be pissed if the owner is ruining their team.

When Jordan retired u kept buying the shoes...When he came back and played shitty for the Wizards people kept buying the shoes.....Him playing shitty had nothing to do with cats still buying Jordan gear....U bought it cuz u loved it....So just buy Raider shit cuz u think the shit look tight like Jordan gear......
Team apparel and a shoe are two very different things.

Jordans don't have a Bulls logo on them.

People don't buy NFL gear cuz they think it looks tight. They either like that team or that particular player. Jordans on the other hand are just a shoe with his name attached to them. You don't have to like Jordan or any team he ever played on to like the shoe.

BULLSHIT.....Run that by me again...I guess all the Nortes root for Nebraska.....I guess them Hoovers root for the Astros......I guess when I see bitches and even some dudes rocking jerseys hats etc. They are all rooting for them teams right?
of course there are exceptions... but most people who buy a teams gear buy it because they're fans of the team

sure there are SOME people who might buy a jersey cause they like the colors... or maybe just like that particular player... but the majority of people... yes they are fans of the team

and its not just clothes or hats either... there's clocks, posters, chairs, cups.... plus tons of other shit with team logos on them

you think people buy that shit just cause they like the colors???

if every raiders fan who buys raiders merchandise because they like the team stopped buying shit you don't think it would hurt al's pockets??? yeah their might be a few people here and there because they like the colors or a certain player... but come on...

Oh that's right, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are now an NFL team. The Astros are also in the NFL now.

:eyecross:

The only time I ever see anyone rocking NFL gear that is not gear from their own team is when they like a particular player from another team. If a Seahawks fan happens to like Randy Moss, you might see them rocking a RANDY MOSS JERSEY, but in all likelihood you WILL NOT see them rocking a fuckin Patriots hoodie. Do you see what I'm saying? People don't rock apparel from another team just because they like the way it looks. People that don't care about baseball do it all the time, people who don't bother to watch college sports do it all the time, even people who aren't big NBA fans do it with their apparel, but that's just not the case with football.
