I mean who suffers by not learning English. not us. its the immigrants who cant speak it. and we as tax-payers have to pay for their not wanting to learn english. by having to do everything in more than 1 language.
by making all government official business in English only you force people to assimilate to OUR (AMERICAN) culture, which in turn helps them to better themselves and their families. (i mean how far can a person who doesnt speak english in America get??? not far. i mean this is America yet now instead of making people learn english we are forcing Americans to learn spanish and other languages to serve people with services who dont even try to assimilate.
now dont get it wrong i think people should keep their culture and never forget it. i get pissed sometimes when i start talking to a person of hispanic origin in spanish and he/she answers me with "what, i dont know spanish". people should not be forced to forget/stop practicing their culture but if they plan on coming and staying here they should also learn our sulture and assimilate.
3. culture: the liberal assault is that we as americans for the most part are christians (dont know the %age but it is probly somewhere near 80-90%) yet the (liberal) ACLU is trying to erase all traces of christianity from this country. they do this by going after small school districs and threatening them with legal action if they dont remove "christmas holiday" from their calenders. or ban the teaching of christianity yet encourage the teaching of Islam and other minority religions in schools.
the liberal assualt on our culture also wishes to change our culture by changing our history by way of revisionist history. while i encourage this kind of teaching in College elective classes i dont believe that they shgould be incorperated into required college classes and/or the public school system i mean i just heard a couple of days ago about a new history ciriculum for elementary schools that endorses reparations for decendants of slaves. this has no businesss in the public school system. again if a college wants to make it an elective i am all for it.
these are basic examples of the Liberal assault on our (AMERICANS) language, borders amd culture. from my (right/wing) view of things. andf i am pretty sure knuckles can better descibe his views. and/or what Savage means by that statement since he has that book and i have been to busy as of late to bo and get it.

i really don't see this as a problem, if u grew up in the US, u will

now back up until (election1998)? over half of what was being taught in certain california schools was in Spanish. at the school where my brother went. we put him in yellow track because they were teaching 50/50 english/spanish. now we put him there so he could learn spanish. but the thing that was wrong with that way of teaching was all the Spanish Only speakers were not learning english. they were learning everything in spanish. which means when they are in 5th grade they will be behind because they are not being encouranged to speak english. so when they do enter the real world they will be at a major disadvantage. also my brother who's first language is english was behind his english speaking counterparts when we pulled him out of that track to a english only track. which meant we had to put in alote of extra work with him at home to get him to catch up. the good thing for him was that my mother is a teacher and i to am going to school to be a teacher.
i think that it was proposition 226 and 227 that finally ended the instruction of spanish in California Schools
thats good and nobody (at least not me) has a problem with LEGAL IMMIGRATION
you know if you really need something you will do whatever it takes to get it. now if that means learning english to be able to communicate with possible employers, or whatever they will learn. now if you dont force them to learn, do you honestly think they will try to on their own.
i mean this is America and we have our own culture and language. and if people are going to be coming here they need to blend in and assimilate if they wish to improve their lives.
A want all people especially mexican people to improve their way of lives and become peoud americans. i just think that the liberal point of view is hurting mexican and all other minorities in America. programs like AA and other liberal ideas were created with GOOD intentions but in the long run they are in my opinion what hold our people down.
minorities in my opinion now consider themselves to be victims and at a disadvantage. they are being told that without AA and other programs they cant make it. that they cant make it on their own. that they cant make it on their own merit. that is what i honestly feel is huting minorities in America today. this isnt the 50's and 60's this is 2002 and things are not like they used to be. but so long as the minorities keep believing the Liberal hype they will never break free of the prison that has been instilled in the own minds.
exactly what i was sying as an elective. not as the primary source. and it was and still is. a couple of weeks ago some school board members in southern california were removed from the board because they were encouraging their teachers to ignore Caliornia Law enacted in 1998 that barred the teaching of students in spanish.
i mean there is something wrong when you sit in on a 2nd grade class on 5 hours a day the class is being taught in Spanish.
their were school districs in SF (5th graders) being taught about the Islam religion and being told that they had to do a jihad as part of the course. yet songs like "God bless America" or a simple writing on a school office calender that says christmas holidays cant be taught??
