This album is fucking dope. It came out a couple weeks ago but I just got around to picking it up.
For those who don't know Hella is a band consisting of core members drummer Zach Hill and guitarist Spencer Seim. They have released a shit load of material, most of which is instrumental. They recently expanded from a duo into a full band for their newest album "There's No 666 In Outer Space" and it is their first album to have vocals on all songs courtesy of Aaron Ross, whos sing/talk/fades into the background sometimes vocals fit perfect IMO. Hella's music is a blend of math rock, noise rock and avant-garde...and just about everything else you would consider odd/weird/strange thrown in as well. Also in my opinion Zach Hill is one of the best drummers out, dude is wild.
This album is their first released from Ipecac Recordings (Mike Patton's label) and I think it's their strongest release to date behind only their debut full length "Hold Your Horse Is" and I could see after letting it soak abit it becoming my favorite Hella album. It's a bit more polished then their previous material but hasn't lost any of the weirdness, noiseyness and head pounding awesomeness that they are known for.
I also recommened if you have a chance to catch them live you make sure to check them out. I have seen them three times and they put on one hell of a show.

Make sure you check out the rest of their work and their side projects (which are numerous, especially for Zach Hill)

Here is a song in MP3 format from the new album but if you dont' have good speakers and a good amp for your computer it doesn't do the music much justice because this stuff is ment to be cranked up to 11.
